Hey if they sent you a bottle of wine, I could get Rosa Regale for way cheaper than what I pay here!!

Boy, if I could, I would make you and all the Divas some of my famous pies and a big pot of Jazz Kitchen Gumbo for our meet and greet party! That would be so fun.....and YUMMY!

I've never had Rosa Regale.....or Magicale (sp?), but I want to try both. I've heard both are delicious.

I really love Courtney's little card. And Steph's with the Grinch. Cristabel's with Peanuts. Jen's "Frohe Weithnachten". Stacielee's Mickey & Friends in the snow. Wendy poo's Pooh and signature. Heck, I love them all. Paper reminders of all the love I have for all my Diva friends.

Chin up, Beth! It's almost Christmas and you have such a wonderful circle of family and friends.

PS - Does Russell's supreme reign EVER end on Survivor? These are for the most part really intelligent people and they just continue to do as he says!

Checking in from Switzerland. Sent all my family off to Paris and I must say I'm not too sad to get a day break. Only two days and already it's difficult. Christmas in Europe seems so idyllic and then you throw in the family dynamics and add jet lag on top of that and it gets challenging. Anyway, I have a day to get everything back in order and to get a positive mind set and then to go enjoy vacation. If only I weren't so darned stressed! Oh well, deeeeeeeeep breath. Gratitude. And focus on enjoying each other's company. Good news is that the kids LOVED having family here in Switzerland and if I can just relax a bit, I'm sure that I will too. Going on vacations with Divas is easy....cause everything is so darned organized and there's an abundance of super planners. If I try to organize for my family, some interrupt it as control and rebel. I tried to give my brother a copy of all the addresses of the hotels we're staying at and you'd of thought I was trying to put handcuffs on him judging by his reaction. Deep breath. It's all good. I'm lucky to have everyone here and will relax and enjoy all of this.

Haven't baked any cookies or cakes. Not going to.
But I do have some presents to wrap and lots of cleaning and packing to do.

Just checking in!
I arrived to Disneyland around 9am and got in touch with Steph and we spent the whole day together and later ran into Stacerita. We had a great time talking and the crowds were pretty manageable, especially with us keeping up with our fast pass windows. I didn't leave the park until 11:30pm!

Steph, I had so much fun with you and I hope the rest of your birthday trip is a blast! Good luck getting those candy canes!

My last final is later at noon! YAY!

Good Morning Divas!

Happy birthday Steph and happy last day of work until Jan. 4th for me!!!

I have one project to finish up today and then it's just a matter of organizing and gathering up everything that I need for the next two weeks since our office will be locked down before I get back from DL.

Tonight we are going to the Ethel M cactus gardens and then tomorrow we hit the road bright and early for 5 days and 4 nights of Disney holiday magic.

I too am LOVING all my cards! I have gotten all but about 4 or 5. I haven't gotten Jen's yet. I hope it didn't get lost in the mail. It sounds awesome! They have all been really cute! LOVED the little penguin of courtney and I already said I LOVED Stacielees and Traceys. EVERYONE's have been so fun! Patty sent me my FAV tinkerbell! It has just been so wonderful. Esp with everything going on in my life it really brightens my day to get these cards from my wonderful divas!

Anyway today is the girls last day of school before the break. I know Shelby at least is excited as her class will do a party but poor Katy prob won't get one. She is bummed but we will have fun next week. I let them get a movie last night (land of the lost) and I rented one more when I took back my others. The Other man was WEIRD! And when I took the others back I got Inglorius *******s. I haven't finished it as I fell asleep last night so I will watch the rest tonight. It is ok.

I am off here in a few to drop the girls off and then go in to work and I have quite a bit to do and then it is office Christmas party time. We always go have a nice lunch somewhere and then do our gift exchange.

Then tonight we have to run to sam's and then just relax hopefully. We have soccer tomorrow and church hopefully on Sunday and then Shane takes his test on Monday and the girls have their Girl Scout chirstmas party Monday night and prob Tues or Wed I will take them to see Santa. Oh and Sunday night we are going to mom's to help them put up their tree. So busy busy!

OMG....I ordered mine 2 weeks ago, called Monday to inquire about it because it was considered backordered and she told me it showed processed and should ship out in the next 3 days.......so I was thinking it may not be here to "surprise me" for Christmas. So I get home today after a chaotic and stressful afternoon (long story) and guess what was on my doorstep???? A box from Disney with my brand spankin' new D & B Disney tote bag!! I almost screamed when I opened it and quickly hid it in my room. It smells so new and looks fabulous, I'm beyond thrilled!

I think somebody asked....there is the $45 wristlet, $150 small bag w/ strap and $175 large tote! I heard they are coming out with a black and a denim at DLR soon and the white is WDW only. Not sure if its true or not...just what I heard.

Yay for packages on your doorstep! Did you get the tote or the tassel purse? I am leaning toward the tote. I thought about ordering one but I want to make sure it has Disneyland and WDW on it and since I'll be in WDW in Feb. I'll pick it out myself to make sure it has the pattern I want. I think since I have a left over GC from work last year I might get the wristlet too.

I saw a picture of the black one and I don't like it as much. So I still have my sights on the white tote! Enjoy and I should have mine for the Divas trip.

I have one of the white ones - the large tote! I LOVE IT! My good friend was in WDW in November and got it for me. I get so many complements on it!!

Thanks for sharing this...I can't wait to get my hands on one! I was thinking about the tassel bag but I already have one, not the Disney one but a black one with colorful D&B's so I am going to get the tote. The tote isn't too big to use as a purse, is it? I wish they would come out with wallets/change purses.

It was pretty busy, but we managed to ride a few rides and finally saw the fireworks in front of IASW. Boy, that is my new favorite place to watch them. After it snowed, both of my boys gave me the biggest hug and thanked me for bringing them. Now I am already emotional since fireworks and snow get me all warm and fuzzy. But when they said thank you the water works just started to flow. They didn't seem to mind that their mom cries It was well worth it to see them soo happy.

That is my favorite fireworks viewing area too especially during the holidays. What special memories you will have of that day... With my DD off to college it is memories like those that come back to me often and make me both smile and shed a tear or two but well worth it.

Tina, I always love hearing about you cooking for a crowd. It's so impressive.

I'm back from my doc appt. and have all sorts of fun (not!) and pricey procedures scheduled to see what's going on with me. Boo!
But I am blessed and thankful to live in a country where these tests are available to me, and hopefully they will give me an answer and a solution.

They are going to try to go after the guy using his license plate and go through his insurance, assuming he has any, but with no witnesses it could be hard to prove and it's not likely to happen. So it appears we are stuck with a crunched in door.

But I am thankful the door still slides so the kids can get in and out, and we have a van to drive rather than taking the bus, no matter how crappy it looks. LOL

I still don't know what to do about my tooth as I don't have the money to get it fixed, but I know once I do, I have a great dentist to go to who is efficient, does great work and is close by.

Okay, how's that for trying to be positive and not get caught in the "woe is me" syndrome that I almost got sucked into today!!!!
Maybe if I say it often enough, I will actually mean it.

Beth - Actually, you don't have to say it more than once to mean it.
I am glad the insurance is going to try to track down the hit and run driver. They do not have to have witnesses, he must have left some paint on your van. Have you inspected your van door carefully for paint?

Have you visited that dentist to get an estimate? If you call ahead and explain your situation, and ask if they do deferred payments and/or sliding scale, you will find out what the cheapest this could be - just so you'll know.

Jen, I could have written this post. When DH and I took his brother and his gf to DL years ago, we were getting them on the best rides first. After one ride they said, "oh, can't we just stroll? Maybe we won't go on that pirate ride." They had some vision you could stroll around and go on whatever ride you wanted whenever... (on a busy day).

Hello ladies!!

Sounds like everyone is having a good day today!! Getting fun packages, and surprises, making plans for the holidays, doing some shopping, baking, going to movies, visiting friends and family. Sounds like the holiday spirit is finally hitting home for our little group here.


I am waiting for Ruben's family to arrive and then we are off to the movies as well. Then we'll go out to dinner. I cannot wait to see my sis-in-law again. It's been over a year. Way too long.
