DBF told me not to fall for anyone while he was gone. He was joking, so I joked back and told him I wouldn't. The reason I gave him was that I didn't want to have to shave, do my hair, wear makeup, dress nice and worry about burping in front of anyone. I don't have to worry about those things with him so he has nothing to worry about. All he could do was chuckle and say, "thats my girl"

It's been quite a crazy day. I did start my new exercise program, couch to 5k, and my dog almost killed herself.

I'm reading this thread and seeing about these meets, and it all sounds good to me. QUESTIONS: Is there an October meet. I think I read that there is/was, but I can't find more details about it. Can you share with me, some more info?
I got that there is a meet in March (just too far from today ) but I'm now curious bout the October one, or halloween one...

I'm going to the parks on thursday, day after tomorrow, yea... ahh, the sweet sounds and smells of main street. mmm,ooo,ahh

Any info you're willing to share, I'll be happy to listen to.

Hello and welcome!!!

This is the main planning thread for the DIS Girls Only Trip. We had our first one last April and since it went so well, we are planning another for March '09. That's what most of the info on the front page is in reference to. All the tours, schedules, etc are for our March trip. And anyone is welcome to join us for that as long as they are over 18 and female! Oh and they love Disney. LOL

Now as for the October meet, a few of us who are going to be there at that time already with our families, or solo, or who live locally, decided to get together one night for a dinner at Cafe Orleans. And hang out afterwards, go on some rides, etc.
It's still a Girls Only meet, just sort of a mini one. LOL But again, as long as you meet the Girls Only trip requirements, then by all means, feel free to join us!! The time and other info is on the front page.

If you have any other questions about the October meet or the March trip, please just ask away and we'll be happy to answer them. Or feel free to send me a PM.

Have fun at the parks!!! I'm so jealous. I want to be there right now.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Law & Order SVU. It's true, it's not even safe to go during a commercial because you just might miss something.

But if you have ever looked for the "Mother of the Bride Dress," you would say the same thing. When I was looking for one last year, I finally gave up in the specialized departments, cuz they looked like they were all for my Mother. She is 84. I finally found the perfect one in the regular dress area.
