Hey everyone, just wanted to say hi! I have been insanely busy with work, daughter's baptism, chores, etc. I have been trying to keep up with the reading and it looks like we are starting to talk t-shirts! I can't wait! That is one thing we didn't have for the Disneyworld gathering that I would have really liked! I would like to get something that I would wear at home, too, you know, like the brown/pink shirts you all did last year. Those are current colors, etc. Deff. not black...lint is not my friend! Just weighing in with my 2 cents. Oh, and while I think the princesses making funny faces is funny, I don't know how comforatable I would be wearing it...you know, having a little girl at disneyland for the first time look at our shirts as she is walking through the gates, seeing the princesses she has come to see portrayed in such a way. I don't know. Maybe I am just feeling a little stuffy tonight! LOL! We'll come up with something great, I just know it!

DBF has been working with his BIL for just over a year. The whole time there has been talk of taking a job that is out of state. But the job would be work so many days, get that many days off to come home. His BIL had been bidding on that job for some time. Just found out that the bid went through. So DBF will be working on that job. The bummer is it was decided that they would work straight through and not come home to get done sooner. So they will be gone for 8 weeks straight! He leaves this sunday and will be back the day before our Big Bear trip. He is going to miss Halloween, we were getting Haunt tickets, DL and a few other things we had planned. And did I mention I won't see him for 8 weeks? Get opportunity for him, but it stinks. So I am in a slightly pissy bitter mood. UGH!

As far as bail money, we can do what we used to do when we would go partying in Mexico......stick cash in your shoe. You won't spend it on Mickey bars (or in Mexico, Cerveza) and it stays there for emergencies. Just a thought.

Oh, oh, oh!!! I have just the thing! These already have a money slot! Perfect place to store our bail money.

Oh man, that really does stink. I'm sorry. Can he at least come home once, around Halloween time so you can see him and you two can still do some of the things you had planned? One time shouldn't set them back too much should it?

Tinkermell... that's hard. I understand how you feel.. a couple of years ago my husband went back to school and got his masters. It was so Hard on me. He would fly out on thursday afternoon.. and fly home on monday morning for one year.. plus working full time.

Perhaps we could make a similar theme as last year just modifying the colors?

Do they have to be short sleeve? Perhaps 3/4ths or long sleeve since it is in March?

I'd like to get a lime green shirt. I was really bummed we didn't have them for last year, though I did love the shirts! (Even the super stretched out Martini glass one!). Everything is so lime green themed, it's a bummer to not have that color on the clothing.
For the other shirt, how bout the same imprint as the brown and pink but make it pink and brown? For some reason, I'm totally into that color grouping now.
I don't know about others, but I'd imagine that weekend to be pretty warm, and I wouldn't want longer sleeves. I could always put longer sleeves underneath if it's needed. We went the same weekend last year for DD's b-day and it was HOT, except at night after the sun went down.
I love the idea that Cheryl had with the Mickey/Minnie head, but not sure how we could get them accomplished. I know we had issues with the lime green mickey head last year. If it's an iron on, I'd have to beg someone else to help me out by doing it, we don't have the kind of printer you can do that with. And, if we all ironed them on ourselves, we would have all sorts of different shirts, which to me would make it much less cool.
Just my 2 cents (well, with all that said, I bet it's up to 5 cents now!)

DBF told me not to fall for anyone while he was gone. He was joking, so I joked back and told him I wouldn't. The reason I gave him was that I didn't want to have to shave, do my hair, wear makeup, dress nice and worry about burping in front of anyone. I don't have to worry about those things with him so he has nothing to worry about. All he could do was chuckle and say, "thats my girl"

When my husband would go away to that program..sometimes i would go...and we would have so much fun..eatting at yummy resturants.

then we would come back home and it would be the everyday stress of work and family.

He would joke.." I want my Dallas wife back."...and i would say.. "oh yeah well i want my Dallas Husband back."
