First off Welcome Christine. And just wanted to say that my mom is coming on the trip as well. This will be our 2nd trip and mom will be turning 65 while we are there. So she is in the older group as well. But let me tell you she is a lot of fun. She rides ToT and pretty much all the rides and right up there with all the youngins. She loves everything and we have a blast! We look forward to meeting you and I look forward to getting to know you on the boards.

Thanks for the welcome! How wonderful your mom will have a birthday during the trip! We can all celebrate. Age truly is a state of mind....although my mother's friend used to tell me (when I was 30) that "old age ain't pretty", but your mom and I are not quite there yet! Still 20 years to go, in my book. I will be 62 in November and have teaching young children to thank for keeping me young at heart.

I'll look forward to hearing the adventures of the swim team - my son was on one from age 7 thru HS. It is a LOT of work for parent volunteers!! God for you for volunteering!

I'm waiting for Doubt to come on cable, even though we saw it at the movies twice. We don't have netflix, but everyone tells me we should drop premium cable and sign up for netflix.

I'm jealous of your quick DLR trips, Stacie! Date Night at Disneyland is something I've always wanted to do.

Jovie weighs about 8.5 pounds, which is considered large for a registered maltese. She was the largest in her litter, which was why she was the last to be adopted. We actually wanted a larger one because I didn't want the kids to be able to easily hurt her.

We've been bonding the last few days because of a dog food scare we've gone through. The food I had her on (Nutro Lamb & Rice) was making her ill and I ended up hearing that it has made many, many other dogs ill as well. So, if anyone else is feeding their dogs Nutro, I would watch them closely!

We had a great time at DL last night. We dont' get to do date nights that often, especially at DL. So last night was nice.

The sweater is just slimming .

Drive by posting, since it's a crazy day here today. Miss you all! Missing DLR, too. Seems crazy, as I was just there last weekend, but I'm wanting me some of the magic!!

We had our first school closing in our district due to the swine flu. They closed one of our high schools for 14 days!! Seemed a bit excessive amount of time, but they must have their reasons. We have a small district, and it seems an unusually large amount of families that span high school through elementary school, so I'm honestly not thinking we'll have too long before other schools are closed, too.

Happy Saturday girls!!!!

Last night Chris and I watched "Yes Man" It was really funny. Jim Cary usually drives me nuts but this movie was good. He brought Chinese food home for us and ice cream for the movie. Have I mentioned how much I love that man

This morning Ayden had his parade.....it rained!!! BLAH! I was VERY surprised that there was still quite a crowd. It was a light rain so at least we weren't soaked. We went out to lunch afterwards. Ayden has been extremely whiney and crabby today. We came home and I put him right down for a nap. Of course after he lectured me about wanting a new mom. Oh my child loves me!

His T-ball coached sent out an email saying his game is ON for this afternoon at 4. I'm dreading sitting out at the field in the rain. Hopefully it clears up a little bit...at least that's what the weatherman said.

Callie, Jovie is so stinking cute!!!!

Courtney, glad to hear you had a good time at DL.

I gotta run....I really need to try to get some laundry done before Ayden wakes up.

Ty is watching MMC right now too. I feel like I know every single episode by heart, so I'm loving the fact that it's a new one today!

Do your girls watch any of the other Playhouse Disney shows? We also watch Handy Manny, Little Einsteins and Imagination Movers. There are also some great CDs with all the music that I keep in the car.

They love the music in all of those shows. Addy (3) watches the Playhouse Disney shows every morning. The twins always stop to bob up & down for the songs.

Well that's good! Not having to deal with anything days are spectacular and spending time with the twins is wonderful... they sound just beautiful and way to go on training them on the Mickey Mouse thing

The best way to fit into this family is to have a huge love of the mouse!!! Shyann actually pointed to the Mickey on my shirt last night when I said Mickey Mouse.....coincidence???? Who knows...but made me smile anyways!!!

Laurie, no tag fairy for me either..maybe someday! Here's a little dust for we tagless folks!

Laurie I am sorry you had a bad day but I agree with the others in that sometimes things get sticky but as always you are doing a GREAT job by those girls and I am sure it will all work out in the end. You are a GREAT mom! ((hugs)) and hang in there!

Wow, just noticed how many posts you have!!!!! I joined in February & have over 1300....thought that was a lot!!!!

Up until a few months ago I had less than 1000, but went to the game board and got hooked for awhile. Now that I've found this neat group of ladies, probably will not be posting too much elsewhere...this is practically a full time job!!

Have been to WDW waaay too many times, so post a lot on the resort board answering questions, if I can be helpful.

Spent the afternoon re-familiarizing myself with my beloved DL. So much has changed! I am so excited about this trip......cannot decide if I should add the official icon or a trip countdown. Decisions, decisions!

So many already have roomies - hope you all get to know me well enough so I'll be able to have a roomie/s as well...would not be as much fun fun (or affordable) alone. All in good time.

Am thinking maybe I should wait to add a photo to the front page until after the trip. I don't have any good enough too share from previous trips (rather camera shy). At you all can "meet me" from the other photo I posted.

Sorry to go on...I am just so darned happy!!!
