Thanks you guys, I'm totally happy and excited! I haven't had a new car for so long. I've been driving the same car for, oh I don't know, maybe 12-13 years. This new car is a gift from my mom and dad! How do you thank your parents for something like this?!!! My mom told me that one of their true joys these days is me going to graduate school. They want me to stick with it and continue to get those great grades, and that is all the thanks they want. Awwwwww, are they awesome or what?

The car has so many gosh darn buttons and automatic functions, that it's going to take me a day or two to figure everything out. It's kinda cool though.....kinda like getting a new toy and after playing with it for a bit you find something else it can do that you hadn't seen before.

Well that's my exciting news for the day, month, and year.

I'm heading over to my parents in a few minutes to have a glass of wine and celebrate. My dad is going to be 82 this year and he's not doing all that well these days, so this gift means more to me than just a new car. Uh oh, now I'm getting all tearing and weepy just thinking about it. Anyway, it's a very special gift.

Eh, I think I am in the same funk. DH brought Krispie Kremes home and I almost unleashed on him because I can't have any. I feel bad that I got mad..but still. Krispie Kremes are my weakness.
