My certification will be from Arizona. So....

But our options are open. Dh graduates 3 months after I do. His degree is in software engineering. Where he gets a job is where we are going. He will be making FAAAAAAAAAAAAR more than my piddly teaching job. I can't wait to not be poor! lol!

I love the monthly get togethers Jane, Amy and I try to do. We've been lucky enough to meet up three times this month. Once with Michelle, once with Stacie, and once just us three.

We make the decisions now, post them on the first page, then when the trip is here, there is no need to form a committee. We already know what we are doing.

Hi all! I was out all day, wishing I had been here today, so I'm catching up.

Okay, I just wanted to chime in on AI. I love Kris Allen and Danny. I think Adam is talented, but I don't like his style.

I actually saw him perform in WICKED & he SUCKED!!! The girl who played Elphaba totally carried him through their duet. But maybe he was just having a bad night or maybe his voice was tired .

I wasn't sure at first, but my gaydar kept going off when I saw him. And I have pretty good gaydar.

I thought Beth was kidding when she was surprised about Adam. Adam has not even tried to hide it.

I have fibromyalgia too and it REALLY bothers me during season changes.

For my kidneys, my doc gives me a couple of things for it. One is potassium citrate. It's a supplement that I take twice a day, but if I don't drink an abundance of fluid constantly it isn't guaranteed to work 100% of the time. I also take a diuretic for high blood pressure so I'm sure that might affect the absorption of the fluid ? (doctors, nurses or nutritionists?) Another is Toradol (sp?) I can only take it if I feel like I'm dying and for 5 days max because it'll give me stomach ulcers if I use it for any longer. The other is loritab. I have chronic pain and have to take extremely low doses of it frequently, but if I have to take more than 1/2 of a tablet per day the list of side effects are lengthy and include but aren't limited to drowsiness, forgetfulness, being a complete idiot, moodiness, and becoming an erratic grouch. It also makes my tummy hurt if I take it a lot. It works miracles though in times of desperation.

I couldn't stop laughing! They were so both so out there stomping around and yelling at everyone. I couldn't figure out what Melissa wanted at first but she wanted all of her things becasue I guess they normally 'leave' for the camera's and then come back to get there things. She and Joan were so funny!

I agree with you about Joan and Melissa - totally spoiled, think only of themselves, type of women. But I can't help but watch them - it's like a train wreck!!

I was surprised at how bad both of them were! I figured some of this is encouraged by the producers but Melissa was really mad she was fired. She didn't want to do the exit interview... please.

Just tossing a planning question out there.......
anyone like the idea of meeting up (other than meals and tours) at a certain time to do certain rides? I know there are some ladies who love that idea, but was wondering how does everyone else feel about that? The ride(s) would be decided ahead of time so we don't waste a ton of time doing the "what do you want to do?" "I don't know, what do you want to do" thing.

Any suggestions or opinions on that?

I think it's a great idea. Especially if we pick an alternative choice if the ride is a thrill ride.

I know there are more wimps out there...

Adam is going to make it big no matter what. He is already an "Idol". He played the part of Fiero in L.A.'s Wicked. He's my #1 pick, and I don't care about the gay factor. He's got mad, mad talent.

I love Danny, even without the sad backstory. I like his raspy voice. He will also be successful no matter what. I think Adam and Danny will go head to head at the end.

Allison is pick #3. I pick her voice over Chris', even though I like Chris' personality and style a lot more.

Callie, I agree with you 100% about Adam. I can only think that the night Kate saw him he wasn't prepared to fill in for the other singer... or something. Because his vocals... yes, he can scream but he can also wrap it down the way he did two nights ago into some very controlled notes.

Simon said it would be Adam and Danny in the end (he actually said before the season started that it would be a guy who won). He gave Danny 55% over Adam because middle America will get Danny more. He said that was what happened last year when they were shocked by the vote.

Hello Everyone

Hope you all are doing well. I'm glad that it's finally going to be Friday. A lot of good movies come out.....I definitely want to see Wolverine. Hugh Jackman is kind of HOT!


Tomorrow is my boyfriend's birthday. The time has flown by so quickly! I got him a pair of jeans, Puma sneakers and a Jamba Juice gift card (we are Jamba Juice junkies! ). I ordered a birthday cake for him, which will be ready on Saturday. It will look like this:

The only difference is that it will be royal blue and the inside will have vanilla cake with vanilla cream cheese mousse and strawberries. I hope it tastes as good as it sounds.

His family is throwing together a BBQ to celebrate. It's also his cousin's daughter's 16th birthday so we decided to celebrate together.

I came yesterday and had a package at my door.
It was from Abby, Jordan's step mom. Inside was a little note from Joey, Jordans little brother & he colored me picture! So cute!
Abby sent me a Mothers days present.
~ $25 GC to Starbucks
~ $25 GC to Olive Garden
~ purple nail polish, a mixed CD, the new Rascal Flatts Cd, Peanut Butter M&Ms, Reeses minis, a GC for a massage.

I love this girl! I am so thankful that Jordan has such a great second mom in his life.
After the crappy week I have had, it was nice to get a little pick me up.

We have several In-n-Out locations, and the Cheesecake Factory is super close to me. We also have an Earl of Sandwich. That's something they cannot say. And their sandwiches are soooooo good.
Plus I can tell you how to get two sandwiches, two bags of chips, and two drinks there for only 6 bucks. I'll show you how to do things on the cheapo!

After invasive surgery, a 2 day hospital stay, a stint (my worst nightmare!) for 2 extra days, a horrible infection from the stint.... I realized the hard way that it was not worth trying to be brave. There is brave and there is stupid.

OMG. You poor thing.

Morning everybody! Well the skies are looking pretty UGLY here. As Janelle knows it is supposed to rain all weekend and into Tues. BLEH! I wish it would make up it's mind. It went from Freezing to 90 degrees and now it is back to raining. Don't get me wrong we NEED the rain because they keep skwaking about the drought and all but I am SO ready for it just to be warm!! Anyway Janelle love the pic of your little man! VERY handsome! Hope you had fun last night at his performance!

I asked Katy's teacher about whether or not the 2nd graders were doing THEIR performance this year because we are just having SO much overlapping and I would HATE to miss anything like that. Last year the girls EACH had a performance 1 night after the other on the last week of school and as I think I said yesterday if I remember correctly that would most likely be the SAME night we have our swim team pics AND the girls have their end of year church party. So Shelby would have to miss the school performance. So as MUCH as I would LOVE to see her in this performance I honestly hope they DON'T do it or if they DO that it is on another night!

SO far she said she thinks they AREN'T doing it. Plus it is so hard too with having 2 kids becuase they BOTH want me to volunteer in their classes and I can't be in two places at once. I volunteered the last two years in a row for the 1st grade classes because they do a big blowout for the last day of school but I don't know about this year. Katy's teacher said the 3rd grade doesn't do a whole lot but I don't know about Shelby's class yet.

Anyway today I have to go get my stupid blood drawn again. I am on this new medication and I have to increase it every 4 days and then get my blood drawn every 5 for awhile. YUCK! But at least so far it isn't making me sick to my stomach like the other one was but the other one didn't either till I got to the higher dose so we shall see. But the good thing too though is these pills are smaller too. The other ones were like horse pills. So we shall see.

Anyway then I have to go in to work today. But NO swim tonight and since it is rain tonight probably just a date with the tv. GOOD Ghost Whisperer tonight! We were supposed to have a Girl Scout meeting this week but I never did hear from our leader and she wasn't at swim all week so I have NO idea. I hope she doesn't send an e-mail today and say there is a meeting cuz I REALLY don't feel like going out in the stupid rain!

Anyway then this weekend we have NO plans and since it will be raining I am glad. Just feel like staying in and watching movies!
