Giftcard for gratuities?

WE have been buying Disney gift cards to help pay for our vacation in June(cruise and WDW). I was just wondering if gratuities could be paid using the gift cards? Or will that for sure need to be cash or credit card? Thank you!

Yes, you can just apply the gift card to your onboard account I always pay ours with our Disney Rewards (basically a gift card)

We had a ton of Disney gift cards for our cruise in October 2014 and applied them all to our account onboard.
