I have a George story!
Several years ago it was my son's 9th birthday. He had on his birthday button and we were in line for PotC. As we were about to get on the boat, DS asked the CMs, "Did you remember to say 'Good Morning' to George today?" The CMs started teasing him and one said, "I don't remember, did you?" and the other said,"I wasn't hear when we opened." As we were getting on the boat, the CM saw DS's button and said, "It's your birthday? Hope it isn't your last!" and laughed as we go on. We start riding the ride and I quietly call out, "George, George!" My kids fuss at me to stop! I just laughed and we went on with the ride. Everything was uneventful until we got to the end. There was one boat in front of us and we were going up the conveyer belt for the boat to hit the exit mark and the ride stops. The boat in front of us was close enough to the exit for the people to climb over to the front of the boat and leave. They were able to push the boats behind us back somewhere for them to leave. But we were stuck on the conveyer belt. My son started crying he was so terrified. Of course, me being the loving and protective mother that I am, I was cracking up laughing at him. He had my DD convinced that George had stopped the ride and now she was crying too. Which only made me laugh more! We were stuck for about 20 minutes when they had to bring out a portable bridge for us to be able to get out of the boat. And guess who was the CM with the bridge? I asked him, "Aren't you the one who told him you hoped it wasn't his last birthday?" He said, "I was kidding!" Ds refused to go back on PotC again. I did get him back on it once it was refurbished. And we got to see the back of the park where they stored the floats for the parade and we got front of the line passes. I don't know if George stopped the ride, but it sure was funny.

I had a surgical procedure today and I am trying to work off the antesthesia. It was so weird. While I was sleeping I had so many images going through my head. The funniest part was that they were mostly of Ray O Vac batteries in various designs. NOW me of all people who have had so many experiences while awake....I just figured if some relative was going to contact me this would have been the perfect time.....but no Ray O Vac Batteries contacted me!

Hope you're feeling better. I had a feeling you were having the procedure - not a "feeling", I just remembered it was around the timeframe you mentioned .


Funny about the batteries! Maybe you're gonna need 'em to do more EVP's.....OR, ghosts drain batteries ya know.... I'm reachin' - but too funny.

Well the doctor wanted to give me Tylenol with Codene(sp?). I said no way last time I had that I saw elephants shaped like eggs with no feet almost like Weebles. I guess batteries are a welcome change.LOL

They had a few personal experiences with coldspots. Dustin & Donna heard plates rattling in the kitchen area which they caught on the recorder. Brian had seen what he thought was a man standing in a hallway, but no evidence of it on film. And Barry lovestruc ) caught a man's face on his new digital camera that can pick up IR and infrared light. It was a good pic of the ghost who in my opinion resembled the original owner of the castle.

They tried to debunk a woman's experience of being "pushed" down a concrete stairway. She knew she had been pushed specifically from the 6th step and that particular step had a lip which the other steps did not so she could have caught her foot versus being pushed. My gripe is, they never asked her if she "felt" pushed, or feeling a push from behind or a hand pushing her. Anyone else have a thought on that?

I'm assuming everyone know this already, but just a reminder that they typically re-air the previous weeks episode the hour before the new episode begins the next week, so you will still have an opportunity to catch it next Wed.

OH no just as I thought, I did not se it but it does not sound like it rates even 5 ghosts! What is it with this team? Mabye the the sprits do not like them and do not come out LOL! I will watch it today.

Breezy and I have had more stuff happen in places where we live or lived. How hard can it be to find international haunts? With all the wars , beheading and torture that had occured internationally there should be no problem finding some juicy spots.


I guess this was not Lullaby Lane.

do you think that Disney would ever let GH on Pirates of the Carribean?

GHI was just OK. The picture Barry took was pretty creepy! I didn't like the debunking they tried to do with the poor lady who was pushed down the stairs. I could have sworn that she said that she had "felt" someone push her but now I can't remember.

That would be so cool! I think I'll write GH and suggest that to them.
I know Steve LOVES WDW. I used to get Ghost Hunters Magazine back when it first started, there was an article profiling Steve and a picture of him with his girlfriend at WDW too. I don't think they mentioned George in the article though.

My problems with the debunking is that she works there. Goes down thoses steps how many times a day every day for several yrs. If the lip was so noticable to cause people to fall, wouldn't it be more likely that visitors would trip over it, instead of someone who walks thoses steps every day

HMM that is a good question maybe they would do a special and send BOTH teams!

Love Brian, but he does get too excited when he thinks he sees something.
But it isn't as bad as Steve on GH. Love the guy but his jumping at every little bug, heights etc is too distracting. I wonder how much is missed because of his freakouts.

Another thing I noticed on last night's episode, or maybe it's just me, but didn't it seem like they had their equipment set up awfully far away from all the action when the were in the ballroom?
The members were walking through the area, but except for the minicam placed by the dishes, they didn't seem as focused on the area as they should have been.
Honestly, I really couldn't see the "face" in the photo like they were saying.

Hi there--can I join in? I just found this thread--used to be a huge fan of GH, but lately it's turning wussy (can I say that here?) I'm so tired of Steve's razzing of Tango. Who has the cat named "Sassy Lashes," anyway? And I miss Donna and Brian. They need to come back to the States!

And do not get me started on GHI. Rob--ugh!

My DH once described Andy as a chihuahua eager to please it's master.
I prefer GH to GHI for sure, I also think it's because of the teams.

I never liked Shannon and she was one of the 'victims' on Paranormal State' so does that make her an investigator on GHI. I think there was a problem with her b/c when I was listening to the radio show Jason and Rob allueded to someone on the show that was a problem and was gone. Obviously it was her. Who does she know that she ended up on this show?
