Ghost Hunters Thread & Personal Ghost Experiences & other Paranormal Talk.

Do you mean Chip the psychic? I only know b/c I watched a bunch of episodes on YOU tube today b/c someone on this thread gave me some links and then I went from there.

Yep, Chip. After I posted I watched the episode and they referred to him by name.

Do you think we can find the old shows on YOU TUBE? Wait this is not the one with the re-enactments is it? Or am I thinking about MOst Haunted?

It is the one with re-enactments. I watch it when I'm hard up for something creepy. :rotfl: Atleast it's a given something freaky is going to happen.

Well isn't there a show called A Haunting or something like that. Let's list the shows we know, Gh, GHI, Most Haunted, and Paranormal State...did I miss any? If you are looking for scary go to You Tube and when you go to one of the choices it will take you to others of the same type. I looked at a bunch of stuff on Moth Man but some of them were way too scary to open.

Sorry! That was the show I was taking about with the re-enactments A Haunting. Here is a link to Part 1 of A Haunting-Dark Forest You can find the other parts and other episodes from there. http://youtube.com/watch?v=dPMItByKgjU

But I think there is another show called Haunting or Haunted. I think it was on the travel channel.

just saw paranormal state for the first time last night. It was really good. Thats for getting me hooked on another show LOL

Past life regression is on Oprah today. The author of Many Lives, Many Masters ( read it) Dr. Weiss is on .

I don't think there was a new episode tonight was there?

So....any ghost stories to tell....popcorn::

No sadly it is all over till Sept. I think GhI is coming on first or second week in July and then it will most likely end right before the new GH in Sept. Let's at least hope it is better than it was the first time around.

:confused3 How many episodes did we get. It only felt like a few. I will watch GHI, but I hope it's better than last season too.

If I am not mistaken you only get 6 episodes. I think that they break it up so that they will have enough to go for a full year when they factor in GHI episosdes. That way when other shows are showing re runs they can say they are all new. Which is just really a matter of doleing out the shows in a differnent way.

This isn't my ghost story to tell but it is pretty creepy none the less. I have a friend whose husband bought an old car. Picture a mid-70's mustang. It was in decent shape but he wanted to fix it up. It sat in their garage for a long time. The whole time their kids were saying that they kept seeing 'angry people' around the car when no one was there. At different times the kids would ask who the strange man or angry woman who were sitting in the car. No one was there. The kids wouldn't go in the garage alone and there was just a creepy feeling in the garage once the car arrived. Also, sometimes when the family was away for a bit, when they came back, the dog would be freaked out. Acting all submissive and tail under and the whole bit. Not all the time, just sometimes. When it happened they couldn't get the dog to go into the garage for anything.

So she posted a picture of the car with a For Sale sign. I don't know if she sold it or not, but could not wait to get rid of the thing!

**and I hope if she ever runs across this story, she forgives me for telling her tale!**

That's a creepy story Herdohuds. :scared: I've read stories about ghosts attaching themselves to things, that always made me leary to buy antiques.

There's a really good episode of GH on right now. They are investigating a preacher's house. She lives right next to the church too. I've seen it before but I think it's worth watching again.

All repeats tonight and they were ones I've seen too many times already so I was a little disappointed. Oh well.

I think I'm going to Savannah in September with my Mom and sister..possibly doing a ghost tour there. I'll be terrified but I think it will be fun (as long as I don't experience anything while on it)

I want to find one in Williamsburg or St. Augustine that uses all the gadgets so I too can find out if there is activity. We have a new camera that has a quicker shutter speed. I do not know why I do this stuff to myself b/c then I get hysterical after.

:scared1: Did they ever get a history on the car?

Ward, do you still want that one car after hearing this?

I think a ghost tour would be fun. And I've heard there are plenty in Savannah - ghosts that is.

:rotfl: Bella, you crack me up. You know you're never going to sleep again if ya do something like that. But if you do, just remember to...:happytv: before you try to fall asleep. It would be fun though, wouldn't it?

BTW, who else looooves Halloween? It's one of my favorite holidays - DH just rolls his eyes when August comes around 'cause I'm already planning for it by then.

My absolutely FAVORITE holiday, hands down. More than Christmas, more than my birthday. Last year DD12 dressed up as an 80's girl, which was a huge hit. This year she's going to be a Deal or No Deal girl, using her silver case that holds her Nintendo DS games. As soon as halloween is over, we're thinking about the next year's costume. I even dressed up as Maleficient one year. That costume was well worth the money. It's so heavy and well made, but usually it's too hot to wear. Think this year (or possibly next), I'd love to go to Salem, Mass. for a tour around Halloween.

I do I do!!! Where's that raising hand smiley. DH put his foot down and said NO decorating for Halloween before Oct 1st. Party Pooper! It's my favorite holiday to decorate for too.

I usually decorate fun and not scary but last year we had a tree cut down in the front yard after we moved here. There was a BIG section of dug up ground so we put a couple of tomb stones out there.

We need to start a thread in Oct "show your house decorated for halloween" :thumbsup2

Ward, do you still want that one car after hearing this?

Yeah, I'd still take my chances. But if I even saw a hint of something strange, I'd probably sell it.

I put up this huge cat that Sam's club sold a few years back. It's huge and lights up with strobe lights on the inside. It has a tunnel through it's legs that you walk through and triggers the strobe effect with the sound of thunder (I almost put lightning :rotfl2: ) and a cat hissing and yowling. It's too cool. And it seems to be the photo op of the neighborhood every year. :rotfl:

I'll have to find a pic and put it up.

Yes please do! :hyper:

I know the kids and I drive by Halloween USA every day in Sept until they finally open. Then we end up going once a week just to look around. I'm glad the kids love Halloween as much as I do. DH couldn't care less- well he does like when the kids come home with bags full of candy but that's it.
