Great story DISUNC!!


Breezy, were you able to sleep last night? I know I was thinking about that story when I went to bed.

Okay Breezy I am going to chalk it up to youthful ignorance but WHAT WERE YOU THINKING???? OMG invoking a spirit....a malevolent one??? OMG. YOU are lucky but I think you should STILL smudge your house and say a cleansing prayer. I am thinking how I had that dream but yours was ...so scary.

Funny you say that, because when I had that experience in my grandma's house, even though it had been a long time since the ouiji incident - I did think about ***** and wondered. But, the one seemed bad while the other one seemed like a sheer personification of evil.

I did get some sleep - a great sleep in fact. Sitcoms and prayers - works every time!

Well I guess you can see why I was so afraid when my son got the evp. I keep thinking that I too used the Ouija board and at he time b/c I am older then you (my kids are grown and you have little ones so I am surmising) para normal information was NOT available to the extent it is now. A few books here and there and some occasional topics on talk shows. We did get a name but we did not even know who or what it was. We jsut thought it was mixed up letters etc. God knows what it said now but I do remember asking and it gave a name. I have always remebered that and so as I have learned more about para normal and negaive energy( I cannot even call them what they are) I always wonder if whatever it was could have followed me and then disgused itself. I know it sounds far fetched but that is always my reaction when I have an experience like the evp.

As I write this it is thunder and lighting out....some good mood weather!!

Was just reading about your Ouiji experience. I had one that scared me but was nothing like what you had. There were 4 of us girls at a sleepover. Two of the girls had been playing with the board for weeks before us other 2 tried it. I didn't believe that anyone or thing could be communicating from beyond through the board. Supposedly we talked to my great grandmother and my friends dad who had passed when she was little. I thought my 2 friends who had been "using" it for the last few weeks were messing around. The next day we went to a local craft fair. Two of the girls, without telling the rest of us, stole a ring. When we got back we used the board agian and they asked it to tell them what they had done at the fair. It spelled out rings. That freaked them out a little. The board kept repeating a number over and over agian. Think three 6 in a row! Then it said that you know who was in the room with us. The big "S" (No, not Santa). We asked where? The board said on the back of and started to spell out a name. Well two of us had the same name but it was spelled different when you got to the 4th letter of out name. I flipped the board before it could get to that letter because that was my name and I was totally freaked out! Never again! It wasn't long after that I found a book at my Nana's house, who is a devout Christian, about how bad Ouiji boards are and what can happen when you use them. "I could have used that information yesterday!"

I fooled around with a Ouija board for awhile in college with my roommate and some friends. I admit, I moved the pointer. I never believed it really was doing anything supernatural. But one night my roommate and friend did a 'seance' (small college town, and this was cheap entertainment) and communicated with a spirit. It told them that something was wrong with another friend. She wasn't at school that weekend. They got themselves all worked up that something had happened. The gal returned to school on schedule and nothing was wrong. My roommate never tried it again, though. She thought the spirit was playing tricks and didn't appreciate it.

Not really spooky, just my experience.

To those who have mentioned other paranormal shows that you watch, could you reiterate the shows and also tell the channel/night they are on? I can't seem to find any other shows.

Is Paranormal State the shows that have alot of demonic themes? I think there's a show that I always read the info on, and decide against it because of that.

Right now on A&E I'm watching Psychic Kids: Children of the Paranormal. It has the older man from Paranormal State in it, who travels to meet with kids to say they see spirits.

I've seen this one a few times...usually scares me too much so I turn it off.

As for Paranormal State..I've only caught a few so I'm not sure what they have on there.

Do you mean Chip the psychic? I only know b/c I watched a bunch of episodes on YOU tube today b/c someone on this thread gave me some links and then I went from there.

Both DD and I have very much enjoyed it. They try to get the kids to accept who they are, and their gifts. Anything that promotes children feeling better about themselves, with paranormal or not, is okay in my book!
