We will be staying at the Beach Club in March and have made ADRs at 1900 Park Fare, WCC and Boma. When I asked/verified with the woman on the phone about transportation (I have to take a bus to DTD or the transportation center and transfer) - she said "Oh no, you can get a bus right from your resort to AKL, GF and WL".

That just didn't seem right to me :confused3 - but I'm very new to this and wanted to check with you folks who will know the "real" answer!

Please let me know the best ways to get from the Beach Club to these other resorts.

many thanks in advance! :)

You're right, she's wrong!

To get to the GF or WL your best bet is to take the bus to the MK then the monorail to the GF or the boat to WL.

You have several options for AKL. You can go to DTD and switch buses. Or you can walk/take the boat to the Studios and then take a bus from the Studios to AKL. Or, if you have unlimited hopper passes you could walk through Epcot and take a bus to AKL from the front of Epcot.

There are several other options, but I think those are the most common. Of course, you could always take a taxi for the fastest way to get there!

Thank you for your help! :thumbsup2

I didn't realize that the Beach Club was within walking distance (or that there was a boat) to the Studios! That's great. The kids would love to ride on a boat.

It sounds like taking the bus to the Magic Kingdom and then taking the monorail to the Polynesian might be the best bet for breakfast at Ohana's - is that correct?

thanks again!

I don't believe that the buses go from resort to resort. We stayed at the BC last year, and we had a late dinner reservation at WCC, too. We were at MGM, so we took a bus to the lodge. Our problem was that it was late when we finished, so we had to take a bus to DTD and then transfer back to BC. It wasn't a huge problem, but we did have to wait a few minutes, and it was late. As far as getting to the GF, you could just walk over to Epcot and take the Monorail. You might be lucky and walk straight up to the buses, but be prepared to wait a few minutes. That was how the buses were running when we were there last year.

Yes, I would take the bus and then hop on the monorail to get to the Poly for breakfast. Take the monorail directly to the Poly. We were excited, and when we stopped at the MK, we could see the Poly, so we just started walking. Anyway, it took us a few more minutes than we thought, and we were just a little late, which, luckily, wasn't a big deal. Walking there wasn't that big a deal for me, but the others in my party weren't so enthused. Enjoy that pineapple bread!! :cheer2:

Just to clarify, you'd have to walk through Epcot (from the IG to the front entrance, using a park admission in the process), take the monorail to TTC, then transfer to the resort monorail to get to GF.

Correct--you do have to go through Epcot to get to the monorail. If you don't have the hopper option, you can't do that. I can't remember about the resort monorail; can you only get to it from the ttc?

We always go from BC to MGM by boat and then grab a bus to another resort.

You can't use TTC as a bus changing station. The resort buses do not stop at the TTC.

You can ride, walk or boat to whichever theme park (during operating hours, when the parks are closed you will have to use Downtown Disney) is closest to your origin or destination and switch buses.
