I will say, the fact that my CCV resale contract has a slightly delayed closing (seller can close end of August), combined with the fact that I don't need the points loaded right away, makes my first ROFR process not stressful at all. I'm like, I'm sure Disney will decline, and it will be well in advance of when the seller can actually close.

A non stressful ROFR process? What is that...

I do think waiting for points to load after closing is more brutal than ROFR though.

Yeah, once I close, I can definitely see myself obsessively checking to see when those points have loaded. ROFR? Unless I were buying VGF, I just feel like I know it will happen (in my case, well before the seller can close).

Haha yeah I’m in the waiting game for points to load too. I don’t need them for anything urgent so not in rush yet I find myself checking 2 or 3 times a day lol.

I think thats whats so irritating, knowing they might pop up at any time so you feel the need to check over and over and get disappointed when theyre not there. I call it stalking training.

Seems like a fine deal to me. I wouldn’t let anything dampen your mood about is owning points at that beautifully refurbished resort.

Excited for you! And excited for ME, because we sent our contract 6/30! I just emailed our agent for an update— hopefully they have good news for me when they’re back in the office tomorrow!
