Getting ready for Thursday... Or could you all wait to call until I do?

Hee hee, yeah right! I have a doctor's appointment on Thursday at 830. Luckily I live in the midwest so I have two hours and 15 minutes to goof around with this.

My plan:
1.Cell phone with hands free calling CRO, it is programmed in (and has been for three years, but I am not pathetic).
2. Call the 800# on my land line- could anyone help me out with that number?
3. Looking online to see if I can do it there- anyone want to give me the link on where we think it will be?

I am fast with the computer, so I can hopefully get out of everyone else's way and just book online.

I have the same type of plan:

Get up at 5:30 (as I am on EST) and check the webpage to see if I can book it there
Have the land line and cell phone preprogrammed and ready to go
At 6:50 something start calling
Pray a lot
Have my daughter monitor the one line

I am not pathetic either!!!!!!!!!!

So, all though we might clog up the phone lines for one another we are least not competing for the same room!

FYI I am not as concerned about the spelling of preferably and preferred as I am perplexed about the fact that you used two derivatives of the same word next to each other!

You know, last year you could definitely book free dining online - just go to the main wdw page, click for reservations, then over on the left click Special Offers and follow the free dining link (its not there yet, but it was definitely there last year) . I don't know if that would be faster but maybe the phones won't be so busy because some people will book online?

One question, why whould it be a good idea to get on the phone 10 minutes ahead? Are they answering yet or will they all be strolling in to work to 20,000 phones all ringing at the same time?

It seems to me you might as well call a minute ahead and that the Que would start not in order of those holding but whomever is calling when it opens. Or are you all saying it opens early and it is a good idea to call 10 minutes ahead?

Now I am in a panic about calling right away Thursday. These boards are bad for my health, which is what I bet the doc will say. We all know it won't be Whitecoat syndrome that has my BP up either.

I don't know honestly I just don't think I will be able to wait until the clock rolls over to 7am... I mean what if my clock is 30 seconds slow or something! (Once again I am not pathetic, merely obsessed)

Seriously, what has me in such a panic is my kids will be starting school in August and I would much prefer to go later to give them a good start at school: 9/22-9/29 which has been planned since Feb. I think I will see if I can switch to Movies for those dates, or see if I can modify Music those dates or move a week earlier Movies or Music. Not that interested in Sports but will discuss with DH about doing Sports with free dining or just taking $400.00 on the chin and keeping Music at 40% off. My head is spinning. If he has to take over so I don't miss my appt I will lose it! He can't be trusted with such important matters. I better get offline and do an outline in case that happens!
