Geriatric MM Warriors!

This is the description on ebay. I'll check amazon also. They are about 17.00 (that's with shipping)

Pumpkin Pie Da Vinci Gourmet Syrup

- All syrups come in a 25.4 oz bottle
- Originally formulated to create the finest non-alcoholic coffee drinks, DaVinci gourmet syrup is a worldwide favorite.

- DaVinci Gourmet concentrated flavored syrup is internationally recognized as the highest quality flavoring made.

- Great for flavoring many things including: Coffee, Sodas, Baking, Desserts, Cocktails, Shakes, Slushes, Malts!

The ones on amazon are for the smaller bottles like I have. The cost on those are about $9

Do these have regular sugar? Sugar free?

Im sure Robin will want to be the taste tester on this recipe! :rotfl:Wonder if Jocelyn has a neutral low carb custard you could flavor.

Why not just make custard and add lots of pumpkin pie spice and extra cinnamon? Egg plant has a very distinctive taste although it does take on the flavorings of other things you put with it. The color would be a bit off putting I think!! Maybe you could use yellow crook neck squash if that is still available and make it like a quiche but use pumpkin pie spice?? That might be getting a bit far fetched. :lmao:

What about creme brulee with the pumpkin pie spice? Here is a link to a recpe.

We get a gingered creme brulee at one of our favorite restaurants and they just add fresh ginger to flavor it so any flavor should work.

It also appeared there were several recipes at LCF - just Google it.

Do they make a pumpkin flavoring, or is this just wishful thinking on my behalf?

Davinci makes a sugar free pumpkin pie syrup - it is quite popular this time of year. :)

The Disney site must be really busy. It is taking forever to post and get to a new page!!!

I absolutely love creme' brulee'!! Thanks for the recipe and link. I'll be trying it for sure!! I would be able to use it as a 5x5!!

I don't know if someone answered you yet, but the blue dye makes the whites look super white. As long as you don't overdo it because then they look blue. Same thing that happens if your older and you use too much whitener on your hair, it turns blue.

I knew it made stuff whiter. I used to use it on ex-hubby's work shirts. Don't know how I posted that one!!
Thanks Nell for the answer!!!

By the time I get my post in it really is too late!! Oh well, since I typed I will add it.:)

I know you are not a fan of Netrition, but I think Netrition the Pumpkin Da Vinci and they have a flat shipping charge as long as you are not here!!

I would check our Netrition for the cost, too. I am typing this as I read along about Amazon and e-bay. It is taking to long to post individually.

If anyone has a TJ Maxx near them they often have a variety of them with their foods, too. I got a few last summer that are waiting for me in CA!

Time to go sort out my desk area - it is looking a bit frightful.

I'll check back later.

Love you all:love:

I wrote to Da VInci awhile ago asking them if they had a distribtor here as I used to be able to get it. They sent me a list of the stores that regularly carry it - (of course not here!)

Albertson's
Home Goods
Kroger
Marshalls
Ross
Sam's Club
TJMaxx

If any of these are in your area you might be able to get them to special order for you.

Most of the stores must just get overages, but I would think Kroeger or Albertson's could order. Just a thought.......

Just wanted to say goodnight everyone. God bless and sweet dreams. They will be sweet with all the talk of the syrups tonight!! LOL
Robin, enjoy your chat with Ken. Hope he gets home soon for you.
Good night everyone!!

Hey you guys!! I am about 8 pages behind and no time to read those right now, just wanted to tell you I have heard from stwill and she is going to send me her e-mail address,,,we are Ok with that Right?

Also just got one from malzer...she is very upset and misses us and wants to join us too, I responded and told her we dont want any mention of us on the other sites and especially no info on where we have gone...so WHAT SAY YOU? do I send her an invite too? She always seemed very sweet and supportive to me...its up to YOU!!!

Good Evening MM's,

Finally got caught up. So much happened the past week, it's very sad that some had to ruin what we had going at LCF. I'm just very glad I thought to PM Lisa and y'all welcomed me over here. I don't have time to post very much but I really enjoy your chatter, you make me laugh when I really need it sometimes.

Re Amelia, I'm afraid I agree with Barb. I get a bad feeling reading her posts on LCF, she sounds like Texas and some of the others that were so critical. Guess I didn't like the things she said about Diane She must not have been following the posts very close or she would have known the forum was not Diane's idea. I could be wrong, I was certainly wrong about Georgia Lee. The other thing is, it says alot if you are worried about someone reading what has been posted here. I would just be careful, y'all went through a lot to create this safe, fun haven. JMHO

Just wanted to say Hello and that y'all are in my thoughts and prayers.

So good to see all of you here. Have a good evening.

I just told Lisa I vote NO on the Amelia and Dasiey ....too omuch drama and we dont know either of them at all! JMHO!!

Good Morning ALL

I wrote in an earlier note that the First Woman article in the mag I got here is about Wendy Chant's Crack the Fat Loss Code Diet. I know Diane said in her blog that it would be about her, but it isn't unless there is another article I missed.

I'm quickly reading the posts and will get back later.

Have a great day!!

It was on page 32 of my magazine, but I thought this article was worse than the other one. Diane mentioned some had lost up to 8 lbs. in one week, so the magazine declared that you could lose up to 32 lbs in one month.

It was really not something that I felt did justice to the program.

Hey,

Thanks so much for inviting me over to this board...I've missed everyone. I promise I won't just lurk and I won't rain on anyone's parade. I can't post a lot (there is no way I can type fast enough to get any response in at the appropriate time) but I will post at least once a day.

I read some posts earlier, before I had to go out and run errands, and shoe organization seemed to be a hot topic. Well, I have a story that I think everyone will enjoy:
We have 3 dogs-English Setters. There is a mom,Hannah, who is a tennis ball fiend. A daughter, Maggie, that loves to run and that talks a lot when you come home. Then there's the son, who's name is Lobster ( named by a teenage boy of course). He is our official greeter. In fact, he has what we call "greeting shoes" that he holds in his mouth when you come home and open the front door. He does not chew them, just holds them. When you open the door his first move is to try and run past you with the shoe in his mouth. If he manages to get past you, he and the shoe are gone. With many acres to run on, this is not what you want to happen. Any shoe left on the ground is fair game. He has also been known to raid closets when in need of a greeting shoe. Needless to say, we have quite a few single shoes. My husband and son-in-law make periodic shoe hikes looking for a list of missing shoes. Anyway, if you have a family member that needs to be trained to pick up their shoes...we could loan him to you. He has been very effective at training me. I may leave some clothes around, but not shoes.

Well, my eyes are beginning to cross as I left my reading glasses in the car and am too lazy to go out and get them. Will post again tomorrow.

Goodnight,
Carol

:)Whew!! took some fast reading but I got through all your yakking for today!! WAY busy at work so no posting for me til now...getting ready to leave for the gym!!

sorry, looks like Lisa already got to stwill, so thats cool, but let me know how you feel about malzer please...I vote YES on that one, but still say NO to the other two...too much complaining and dissing Diane for my taste.

I agree with Barb and everyone who thinks that what we have here now is too special to risk it!! they can all figure it out over there or at LCF if they want to...Im not going back to either place myself.

Pony is hungry too on step 1 and grabbing for PB and pistachios all the time!!!

Kate - yep y'all are hearing me GAGGING over here...Im with Nell on egglpant...YUK!

Hi Pam - no baby yet?

Jocelyn and Kathy - I LOVE CREME BRULEE!!! OMG lets have some RIGHT NOW!!!

OK gotta go to the gym, back later...hope SOMEBODY is still up to talk to me!! :cool2:

Yay! Carol! So happy you are here! I love the story about Lobster. I should borrow him. I posted last night that I had just tripped on one of the shoes that over flowed from the mess on the floor of my closet and woke up the dog and DH. I think Lobster needs to come to my house for a visit! I don't live that far from you!

Carol: I am so glad you found us! Your post about Lobster cracked me up! Once Bonnie stole something I couldn't get her to give back to save my life so I resorted to down-and dirty tactics - I opened the doors all the way to the garage and yelled "Bonnie, Daddy's home!" Then I trapped her in the garage. Terrible but true.:lmao:

Robin: I was really hoping you had time to read how Kathy wants you to eat mashed eggplant. I waited all day for that! :rotfl:Enjoy your phone call tonight! I'm working late with clients at the office and now I have a flat tire so dinner is postponed. Tom's on his way. I agree with you about the other two gals. Sorry, but the tirade showed me a side to her personality we don't want to open ourselves up to. Stwill should probably show up tonight. She's really nice and I think malzar is nice too.

Have a great night and say a prayer that we get this car home ok tonight.
