Hello all,

We spend a week at dolphin every year starting the day after thanksgiving. Both swan and dolphin are booked for our dates. im debating between a 2 BR at either BWV, BCV or trying out a suite at swan reserve. I would love any and all input. The BCV construction has me hesitant to book there but I know my fam would love the pool. We love BWV but the food and bev offerings are lacking. A Swan reserve suite sounds great but with three littles i dont love crossing the road to get to the epcot resort area and the grotto pool.

Would just love to hear what you all would do between BCV, BWV and swan reserve.

Thanks so much!

No Beach Club. Terrible management there. A 2BR resort view at Boardwalk Villas takes less points than Beach Club too. Boardwalk is great. Love the pool and the pool bar. Love the Italian Restaurant on the boardwalk and the Cake Bake Shop is a must pop in, yummy cake and beautiful inside.

Wow, totally disagree with the above generalization. BCV is one of our favorite places to stay, and we've had outstanding experiences with the rooms and the staff over the past couple decades. We just stayed there in Dec, Jan, and March. With recent refurbs at BCV, including the Murphy Beds, it's a great place to stay. Access to the pool is hard to beat, too - much nicer than BWV. We find BWV to be much noisier and tougher to navigate than BCV, but would certainly consider it a nice place to stay, just not as nice as BCV. Hard to know how far along the outside work will be come November, so that's a tough call. Swan Reserve looks amazing, but we have no experience staying there (just dining at Amare!). But I'd hesitate with that street crossing, as well. Good luck with your decision!

I would agree but the BWV is about twice the size of the BCV. The BWV is 532 units vs 282 units at the BCV.

I wouldn't do Swan Reserve - I find the location so inconvenient and there is no way I would cross that street with three littles. My favorite location is BCV - so convenient to EP, the Skyliner, BC QS and the bus stop. I'm not sure how extensive the construction is, but that would be my first choice. Just be aware, depending on where your room is, the EP fireworks can be very loud at night. BWV is lovely, but I agree the food set up is not ideal at that resort. I would also keep checking Swan/Dolphin, rooms tend to open up the closer you get to your dates.

So grateful for the feedback everyone. Our annual disney trip is such a joy for our family. I knew the disboard community would kindly offer the best insight. Thank you!
