I think the fans would be satisfied with just a re-release of the original cut of the original film/trilogy back in theaters for the 50th. No need to sully the anniversary with something new which may be as poorly received as everything else they've done lately.

Sure but bringing out the lead actor, giving it a date, and saying production will begin this fall is a pretty good sign unless it's the Blade movie.

I do feel like this one is going to happen. It's interesting that it takes place after Episode IX. That's not what I pictured when I heard the title. I keep thinking about the video game!
