General Star Wars Discussion

Not a SW character, but the funniest one was a Star Lord we met several years ago. I mean looked nothing like him, except the outfit. We still laugh about it, but it was still a great meet/greet. Which is all that these are.....meet and greets in a Disney theme park. It's just fun!
We saw Star-Lord a few weeks ago roaming near Cosmic Rewind. We were walking toward him and he pointed at my son and said "what's up, little man?" as he walked by. It was so cute.

I am about to start an Andor season 1 re-watch. I am going to watch it in three episode bursts to get ready for season 2 - then I will watch Rogue One. 😁 Anybody else going to run through it? I am excited!
we are four episodes in on our rewatch. Really enjoying it, seeing a new level of detail with a new appreciation on the second go round

I finished my Andor rewatch - so good! I got through it faster than expected because it is just so compelling. I also caught details I missed the first time, which is great. With the series I never get to revisit them as often as the movies, but I'd like to. That's the curse of getting more content (not that I'm complaining). I swear, I don't know how the "One Way Out" episode did not win an Emmy for Andy Serkis or Stellan Skarsgard. Now I really can't wait for Season 2 - Just another couple of weeks!

Agree! One Way Out is some of the best TV content ever. and both performances deserved Emmys. That whole prison arc was so , so well done. and you also get some great Mon Mothma moments/acting.
So excited we're less than 2 weeks out from season 2!

Tony Gilroy said Lucasfilm is developing a Star Wars horror project. Not sure if that means a show or a movie. I'm sure there's plenty of things in development but that would be pretty cool if it actually got developed.

I wouldn't mind something that is a very lite horror/thriller vibe, but I wouldn't want something with a lot of gore, etc. I would hope they wouldn't do that.

I'm not completely opposed to horror, but it's definitely not one of my favorite genres. Will just have to wait and see what they do with it.

Speaking of horror lol, anyone planning to see Revenge of the Sith in theater?

I like psychological horror... ghosts... alien monsters.... not a fan of slasher or gore flicks. I could see some of the darker aspects oof the Sith or the Vader journey being explored in a scary horror/thriller mode. Def will be more adult orientated

Trying to go watch the Revenge Of The Sith re-release in theatres & been itching to play some OG Battlefront II & KOTOR lately.

I'm planning to go as well, just re-watched TPM and AotC in preparation. I appreciate the prequels a lot more since watching the Obi-Wan Kenobi show.

New film that may or may not actually happen. Star Wars: Starfighter, initially slated for May 2027. It’s the one Shawn Levy has been tied to and features Ryan Gosling. Set 5 years after Rise of Skywalker

ETA: One of several theatrical projects still in development from Lucasfilm, including films by Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy, James Mangold, Taika Waititi and a new trilogy by Simon Kinberg

They're not announcing it with Levy and Gosling there if it's not happening. That's the 50th anniversary of the original film. They're not leaving that timeframe empty. If it's Ryan Gosling doing a Star Wars version of Drive...IN!

Probably, but they also put together an entire teaser with Patty Jenkins and Rogue Squadron over 4 years ago and that movie still hasn’t even started filming.
