Geman buffet, are there small tables that you don't have to dine with strangers?

Its a disney trip with just me and my husband... Love german food, I love people too believe it or not, ... Just not comfortable sitting at a table were I don't know them... Can you request a small table instead of the larger ones that seat groups...Thankyou

I have heard that there are smaller tables, but I have personally never noticed tables smaller than 8. You can always make a note of it and ask when you check in, but in the case you can't get a table for just you 2, don't let it ruin your meal or the meal of those sitting with you. It's best to just bite the bullet, smile and get in the Oktoberfest spirit.

Thankyou I will do that.... I do love talking with other families, I once got seated at a table on a cruisehip where a man was picking his teeth with a fork and thaen proceeded to eat it then his child spit his food out back onto is plat because it didn't suit him..... I have such a weak stimach I had to politely excuse myself... Its a weak stomach thing, and apprecite your suggestions, will give it a try in Dec...

You can ask, but it really isn't likely a couple will be given a table to themselves at Biergarten. As long as being denied won't ruin your meal, stick with it, the food's pretty good and there's beer.

I am putting it on my ADR list, love german food and the atmosphere looks festive in there.... Love there cheese cake, would go just for that.... and the beer of course

Yes funnily enough that was one menu DH took an interest in when I was reading them out to start planning what ADR's we will make!!

I have made a surprise ADR for my Family at Biergarten for December. They all refuse to go there but there is a German Restaurant in Ohio we went to for our Brothers birthday and they loved it.

We also had a great experience at Rose & Crown, the family always refused to eat there until our last trip we had to cancel an ADR and made a different one at Rose & Crown and they loved it. We are returning again to the Rose & Crown.


So hopefully, it will work out like our Rose & Crown Experiment!!

Do Rose and Crown every trip, love, love the food and the atmosphere... I usually order the banger and mash or the steak and fish...Good desserts there too..Glad your family had a change of heart, maybe this german buffet will turn me back on to buffets and group tables....Again the beer should help

Are there any price lists for the beer and wine? I keep seeing that gigantic beer mug but have no clue how much it is or how much beer it holds. Can you choose the beer for that mug?

The gigantic beer mug is $12 and it's a liter 'o beer.

Thanks Nala. I wasn't the person who asked about it but it was nice seeing the drink menu. I was hoping to see Redbridge on there but I guess they'll just have the same bottles of it as everywhere else. I bet my DH will try that flight.

DH and I have gone a couple times to this place and I was a little weirded out about sitting with strangers but it really is a lot of fun. Adds to the atmosphere if you will. You will love the gigantic beer!

Yes, the restaurant format is always buffet, and they serve both lunch and dinner.

May just have lunch here, I'm on deluxe dining and may make a way late dinner for later... Thankyou
