Mininum 100 point buy in.

$112 per point but with a $5 gift card incentive per point - so $107 per point out of pocket.

Matching Developers Points that must be used by 10/3/09 - can be used at SSR or the Disneyland hotels or to trade out ot RCI.

2 AP's if you buy in person at the DLR office and you buy 220 points or more.

I feel like I'm missing something . . .

Looks like contracts can be broken into smaller chunks as long as total is 100..is that it?

just checked my account on the member website, it shows 2 50 pt contracts to total my 100 point add on!

Cool! How do you think you'll use those 100 points? I ask because I'm buying about the same amount and am still not completely sure I picked the right amount. sigh.

My plan is to stay in 1BRs as thats really why we are buying points, but we may end up staying in studios too given our trips will be short. Right now our plan is to stay twice every 3 years, alternating between Premier or Magic season and Choice. We'll stay 3-4 weeknights or 1 weekend and 2 weeknights. 3-4 day trips are perfect for us, and if we want to stay longer we'll either do a studio one of the trips to save up points or supplement with points we have at other chains nearby. Years that we get APs well do additional stays using our SSR points or offsite.

I kept trying to tell myself we need more, but I actually don't think we do. We'll be happy with a few stays every few years and then do trips to WDW, DCL or Hawaii in the off years. Not too bad!

We like three and four day trips also. And we will almost exclusively travel during Choice seasons and so that will stretch points a little more. Actually right now we dont' mind studios or reg hotel rooms at ALL. For us we go to Disney for family immersion and bonding time (DH works a LOT) and for us that is actually enhanced by the slumber party feel of a studio believe it or not! I do think we'll treat ourselves to a one bedroom now and then. And the supplement with hotel rooms as needed. I keep reminding myself that there are plenty of other places to stay at DLR if we run out of points at VGC. In fact I'd like to stay at DLH now and then. Plus if we were onsite I'm pretty sure Bell services will transfer our bags for us. We are sharers and so I would love to buy a few more points just to be able to host more people but I have to draw the line somewhere. When our kids are grown and have families we also have the option of just getting them a hotel room.

I also keep reminding myself that there are plenty of other places we want to visit besides Disney. So in all likelihood we'll probably be at DLR every 2 out of 3 years too. 105 points is actually going to be just fine for us and we've decided to keep it at that. For a moment I've wondered if I shoudl get the contract split up. But I for that little amount of points I will not ever ever want to sell them. And I thinik it will be perfectly possible to sell if I had to - even if at a dollar or two per point less. It's not like you can do a whole lot with a 50 pt contract at VGC anyway.

So that's where we're at and we're FedExing our papers in tomorrow. I need the closure. Just have to pray that the 2010 charts don't come out the next day with massive changes! :faint: BTW there is a 2009 chart in my paperwork - it's in black and white and not fancy looking but it matches the other chart that's been posted in several places.
