Garden Grille

Can someone tell me about the dinner food at the Garden Grille? I have a picky 5 yo and 35 year old and was looking for info...trying to decide who will eat what.

We're hoping to go there on our next trip, and I hope to surprise DH with the "Re-Hitching" Ceremony!

We love it there. It's a revolving restaurant and the veggies come from The Land. You start out with yummy bread and a salad (veggies from The Land). Then they bring you out a huge skillet with steak, chicken, catfish, stuffing, veggies (also from The Land) and potatoes. Then dessert which changes all the time. The characters are in farmer gear and it's Mickey, Pluto Chip & Dale. They really spend quite a bit of time with you. It definitely gets my vote. The kids have mac & cheese and worms-n-dirt I think.

if you have picky eaters, you should go somewhere else. They put all the foods together in this pan and some of the foods touch each other. We had a couple picky eaters with us when we went there, some adults, some children, and they were not as happy with it as they were the character buffet meals where you pick your own food and you can control whether or not your meat touches your potatoes! LOL!

I heard recently that they were changing over to a buffet-style dinner, but have not confirmed that yet.

Anyone out there know if this is true?

I am a picky eater and absolutely loved Garden Grill. I loved the fact that you could still choose which you wanted to eat and what not to. You can always ask for more of anything you like. The character interaction was wonderful. We plan on taking our 2 boys (ages 2½ and 4) in November along with both sets of grandparents. We all can't wait!

If the steak is what I think it is and I can request no Catfish, we should be ok! Decided to reserve the CP on Nov 30 with this restaurant so we can see the restaurant with the Characters.
