GAC at MK for CP

Can you please tell me some about getting a GAC card at MK? Will it be beneficial to us? My daughter has cerebral palsy but it is mild and not very evident. She gets extremely tired walking or standing for long periods and I will have her in a stroller even though she is 5 yrs old. Do you have to have a doctor's note? I am mostly worried about standing in long lines- she is too heavy for me to carry her.

You won't need a Dr's. note to request a GAC. You can ask to use her stroller as a w/c which will allow you to bring her stroller into all the queue lines and to use any w/c accessible entrances and w/c parade seating. You will receive a tag to put on her stroller so it's visible to the CM's as you enter the lines. Hopefully this will allow her to save her energy and for you to save your back!---Kathy
