She wants a permanent restraining order keeping her daughter's father out of her life. All things considered it would be better if a judge changed custody from mother to father especially if the death threats to the father are true.

The father needs to get a restraining order against the boyfriend/fiance from being around the daughter. Anyone that can beat someone that bad has no control over their own anger and has no business being around a child.

I hope the Judge sees right thru all of Hallie's lies and gives the dad custody. She is only doing this so she can move to France.

I once knew a guy who did contract work instead of getting full time jobs. He went from one contract to another, but there was one constant. EVERY boss he had was an idiot, incompetent, etc. They did not appreciate his talents as they should. At some point, I realized the bosses were not the problem. EVERY boss cannot be an idiot and incompetent......it just defies the odds. Nope, the guy I knew was the problem, which is why he had to move from job to job. No one wanted to keep him around. He never re-signed a contract....They wanted him and his nuttiness gone.

Halle Berry is much the same. Every man she is involved with is heaven sent, until she parts company with him and he is the devil. I will say she has been involved with some losers, but hey.....SHE PICKED THEM. She is a lightning rod for drama. She is a beautiful train wreck. A disaster movie in the making.

My take is the GA was useful to her as a sperm donor to make a Super Baby. Too bad for her, GA did not see things that way and actually wants to be a father to the child. The "recently moved security camera," the nanny not being around for the child exchange, etc.........It all screams set up. The boyfriend needs to realize he is simply THAT. Not the new daddy.

Sadly, this child would probably be better off miles away from her crazy, drama-seeking mother.

Yep, sooner or later it can't be them, you have to look in the mirror and accept your responsibility in the situation. Not to say that the men are blameless, but I think she keeps going back to the same kind of guy. I think Kelsey Grammer is another who does the same -- madly in LURVE, followed by just plain MAD.

Yes, that's another twist on the crazy train that is her brain. Logic doesn't seem to be a stop on her track.

I can absolutely see and agree with a desire to raise your child in full awareness and pride of ALL of their heritage. What I cannot agree with and find stupid and despicable is choosing to deny not only any part of the child's heritage, but what amounts to the majority of it, especially when that (conveniently) negates the father's entire heritage.

I too don't know what that means, but for some stupid reason I remember a really, really old article with Halle Berry in which she recalls her mom telling her as a young child that nobody would ever think of her has "half white". They would think of her only as "black", and how that stuck with her all her life.

Agreed. It's all very strange. I saw some pics of Gabriel's hands and there isn't a scratch on them. If he was throwing blows, you'd think there would be some kind of evidence.

I'm just astounded that Halle thinks any of this is an ideal environment for her child. Crazy crazy.

I've seen this type of personality in person in a similar situation... it's so.... indescribable.

They legitimately believe that they are doing what is best. It's like a weird disorder. It's kind of incredible to watch. It takes a truly off kilter person to think the way I imagine this woman thinks!

I sincerely hope that the judge sees through these antics and doesn't put up with it. Fathers rights are taking a big turn in the court system around here.

I'd have to see the child before I could agree to that. Most mixed race children tend to look more like the father, at least among those I know.

She definitely looks mixed race. While light skinned, she favors many black traits. And while some white people would like to believe that racist no longer exists and she will be able to freely go about the world without a thought to color, any non-white person will tell you there "things that comes with it," as the other person said, that aren't always pleasant as many in the world aren't color-blind. It will be a horribly, horribly rude awakening the first tie she experiences racism. Worse, if she hasn't been prepared for it by being led to believe she is (more) white than those who perceive her as black.
