I sent an email to a guide I had talked with last year to discuss a purchase. Sent the email 09/13, got the Out of Office email with the "we are closed but will honor whatever deal is happening when you sent this email". Got another contact from another member, sent that email earlier this week and got the same autoreply.
Called the number today, talked with a currently working guide. Both of the guides I was trying to reach are still furloughed. And despite forwarding the autoreplies, he said management is no longer honoring these. Said that they have had the 800 number available for 3 months, they think that is enough time for people to use the phone to get in touch.
If I was buying CCV, RIV, or Aulani, this would impact me but for AKV it doesn't really matter. The principle though. Seems like they should honor the language of the email, if those are the replies that are going out. Just wanted to let you know, if you sat on a deal from the late summer incentives because of that email, you might be out of luck.
