Funniest comments you've overheard in WDW

Last weekend in the MK parking lot while waiting for the tram, a family was standing next to us that had obviously never been to DW and had not researched anything....They kept asking people where the tram went because they didn't know where they were.

Then the ferry that takes you from the T&TC to the MK sounded it's horn and the father quickly responds "you hear that? That must be the Disney Cruise Line!" --- apparently the Ocean now runs through Orlando :rotfl2: :confused3

:rotfl: :rotfl: You didn't hear about the new canal that Disney built so that it could take guests from it's parks right onto their cruise ship? You have to keep up with these things!

:rotfl2: Omgosh...last weekend, serioulsy....I think 90% of the ppl there had never been before and did no research whatsoever! DD and I just kept running into ppl all over the place that were lost.

Also, on the way to the MK, we got on the monorail and there was a lady and her daughter in the same car as us. As we went through the Contemporary, she started having a fit wanting to know where they were going b/c they should be going to Epcot. I told her that she would have to take the monorail back to the T&TC and then GET OFF this monorail and get on the one to epcot. She looked so puzzled at this and said she thought it just went onto epcot after the mk. Then, I had to explain this to her again, with emphasis that T&TC is where she has to get off to get to epcot becuase some guy standing next to me told her he thinks she can get off at MK and catch a monorail directly to epcot from there! :confused3

Both of these were in the same day.....within 10 minutes!!

While we were there in June we overheard a few:

Man trying to convince rest of family to ride Dinosaur:

"Aw, come on..it's just a Jeep ride."
(Riiiiggghhhtt....)

In the Italy pavilion at Epcot:

"I am going to America, there aren't any bathrooms here."
(I wonder if that's what brought the Pilgrims to America)

At AKL, overheard a woman on the phone talking:

"There are some nice Giselles out here."

You know how on the KS they always point out the bongos and then tell you people think they are related to the zebra but they are actually part of the giraffe family? Well anyway, after we got off the ride we were walking on the trails and came up on the bongos and wouldn't you know it...the people next to us said "Hey look at this animal; he looks like a zebra."

1.One night, VERY LATE at nite we were coming home on the Disney buses...

It was the end of football season and 2 guys were talking. Everyone else on the bus was very quiet and very tired. Every time a team was mentioned that was not his own, this guy exclaimed loudly "THEY SUCK." By the end of the ride he had said it about 8 times, so we took a picture of the "they suck" guy.

2. Another LATE nite on the Disney buses, we passed the huge McDonald's that is on property. This kid had been at MK ALL day and well into the night, and kept screaming "I want McDonald's, I want McDonald's!!!!"

:confused3 :lmao: :confused3 :lmao:

A friend of mine worked as a CM at one of the resorts, and had to explain to people all the time why they couldn't have a room with an ocean view, no matter how much they paid or complained!

I have to clarify, by saying that this didn't happen in WDW. But it could have. It could have happened anywhere. I just think it's sooo funny.

I was wearing a turquoise woven belt, and a little girl about 5 years old came up to me and said " I like your belt". I said "thank you, I like your necklace." She again said "I like your belt". But added "My dad has one just like it" . I thought really, her dad has a ladies turquoise belt, but then she added "but it's grey. And it's a hat.":rotfl: :goodvibes :lmao: :lmao: The dad and I had a good laugh over that one. His belt was just the same, except it was a grey hat.:rotfl:

:rotfl: My DD does this too. What she usually means is the item is the same fabric or pattern. It's still funny though. :rotfl:

A few days ago at America Gardens Theater we were watching Captain Fantastic do his Sir Elton tribute.

After a few minutes, a woman behind us tapped my wife on the shoulder and asked "Is that really Elton John?"

When we were in Epcot last summer buying a print in the Art of Animation store, I started overhearing a conversation between a guest and a CM. She was saying something like, "What do you mean the countries aren't in the big ball?" So he kindly explained to her that that was a ride and the countries were around the lagoon. Her response? "I can't walk around outside in this heat!"

Not at WDW, but it was about WDW.....

I was at CVS last night picking up some hair color, and while I'm in the ailse choosing the color I hear the cashier up front say "Now who in their right mind would go to Epcot to ride in the ball?" I wanted to laugh, but I said "I go to Epcot to ride in the ball!" Then she said "Yeah, but do you ride it like 14 times in a row? And is it your favorite ride? My boyfriend does."

So if all else fails for the Epcot ball, there will be at least 1 huge fan of Spaceship Earth here in Michigan :)

My DH and I were taking pictures of EE when a family stopped beside us. The dad lookes at his family and said "look there is the new ride Expedition Everest. You know that it was modeled after Mount Kikimanjaro." My DH had to cover my mouth because I was laughung so hard and he did not want the man to be offended. :lmao: Not even the same continent!

Last week, I walking through the park (DHS) and I saw a woman say "Look, there's the Tower of Terror."

She was pointing at Mickey's Sorcerer Hat.
