Funniest comments you've overheard in WDW

Last WDW trip, DH and I were sitting on a bench in MK. We heard a family before we saw them. They were having a "heated" discussion with their 7 yo son. As they were walking by us the son said to his mother, with a very stern look on his face "don't make me angry, you won't like me when I'm angry"
We cracked up about that all day. And even now when we have a "heated" discussion, one of us will say " don't make me angry. . . ." and start laughing:rotfl:

haha...this reminds me of a Twilight Zone episode: It's a Good Life... (season 3)

We were at Cape May for the character breakfast and this 7ish yo boy kept yyelling" hey squirrel you didn't sign my book" to Chip.

A fellow DISer was videotaping her sons at a Character Breakfast probably about 17 years ago when she was approached by a very angry husband; he proceeded to ask my friend to stop taking pictures of his wife. My friend said "which was is she, Chip or Dale???", he just looked at my friend really strange and retreated back to his table where.......Meryl Streep was dining with her family, which of course my friend was not taping her until the husband peaked my friends interest. The whole this is on the video tape and it is priceless:rotfl:

Ha! There are so many celebrities that come to WDW and are unnoticed entirely and most guests have enough sense not to bother someone who looks like they might be 'so-and-so' on vacation. If they are with guest relations, then they will be spotted more easily, but while I was working, I had several celebs approach me to ask questions at different times. Most people, if they do notice, don't realize until they're gone anyhow... I pulled up to load my truck one day and thought, 'Wow...that guy really looks like David Beckham.' He got on a full truck of people, solo. No one thought twice about him. I only found out later from supervisors that he was in AK that day, sans GR. Not that it would have made a bit of difference, but that just illustrates my point.

Nice story :lmao:

No, I think they were referring to the one with Billy Mumy. Who could send people to the corn field if they had "bad" thoughts!

Billy Mumy's character was Anthony Fremont on the episode "It's a Good Life", and yes, if you thought bad thoughts you'd be sent to "the corn field"... except for Dan Hollis of course ... :scared1:

OOPs...... Sorry, got the 2 episodes confused for a moment....... the episode with Telly Sevalis and the Talking Tina doll was the one that the doll said "you better be nice to me!"
Thanks!

I used to work at a resort, and this would happen to us from time to time. "Wow, that guy really looked like (enter z-list celebrity name here)" and then we'd go check the book and it would be them. Yes, we had a book of important information at the resort for the employees, updated daily. If there were any celebrities that were supposed to be there that day, they would make sure to put it in there. Along with instructions reminding all staff to leave them alone, unless they wanted special treatment, and then to give it to them or find someone who could. Oh, and to generally keep the other guests away from them (although they usually were smart enough to keep to themselves).

The kicker? This was BRANSON! Trust me. Usually we didn't even know who the "celebrity" was. I actually really offended one of them once by asking for a driver's license when they were paying. I didn't recognize them. I got the "Don't you know who I am?" shpeal. Ummm....No. When you were hot...I wasn't born yet. Sorry.

My friend worked at a store in Orlando when one of her favorite musicians came in. I'm blanking on his name at the moment, though I can see him plain as day in my head. He was a rocker. She couldn't believe it and although she knew it had to be him, she asked for his driver's license when he got to the register and paid with a credit card just to make absolutely sure just because she couldn't believe she'd be that lucky. :rotfl:

Exactly! A great episode... I saw a sequel to it on the new Twilight Zone("It's Still A Good Life"...also Season 3, episode 8)... About little Anthony all grown up and his daughter... (played by Bill Mumy, again, his actual daughter, and Cloris Leachman again as his mother!) You can imagine how that went...haha. I mean, it was a nice episode--a very nice episode!

The new ones pale in comparison to the originals, as you would expect. Although it's interesting to see what the show would be if it took place today. The old ones are still entertaining, but this new series...it's only mildly entertaining now. The entirely new stories are okay... I'll still take it over the "reality tv" any day!

We now return to our 'funniest comments' thread already in progress...

I was thinking of sending the video to Meryl, she has such a great sense of humor.

That is what the Hulk said before he went green.

Quite a few years ago, not too long after MGM opened I came down with my parents and my brother and sister. We went on the backlot tour and when it came to catastrophe canon and everything started shaking and the CM started going on about how this wasn't supposed to happen my mother took him seriously and started panicing. I was sitting next to her and she turned to me and said "Brett, I can see a path next to us and it looks OK. Your father and I are going to jump out and I need you three to follow us and run as fast as you can." Luckily my father heard what she was saying and calmed her down, but she was seriously about to jump out of that car.

All of these stories are too funny. Here are mine.

I'll start with the most recent one.
1-In July I was on the bus with my DS going to MK and a Mother and her Daughter get on. The daughter ask "where are we going" the Mother all excited screams "Disney World"

The next ones are out of the mouth of my childern.

2-My DD maybe 6 yrs old at the time picks a pearl in Japan, when they open it, it was huge they bang the dong make all the noise and my DD is crying "I don't want a big one." she refused to take it from them. I had to coach her in to taking it. She did not want it, it was too big.:confused3 :rotfl: We still tease her 8 yrs later.

3-my son was about 3 at the time, we are in MK having lunch at The Plaza, the parade starts and he gets all excited, so I take him outside to see some of it.
As we are walking to the street he is screaming "Disney World is starting, Disney World is starting"

4-Same son a year later we are in Disney for New Years. We just arrive at the Hotel and we are walking to Epcot. He is so excited {he just loves Disney:love: } I call my Mom so she can hear how Excited he is, He gets on the phone and says " Grandmom, we are at DownTown Disney World":rotfl:

Kids, they are too Funny:lmao:

If I was the mother, I would have burst into laughter and said, "Well... we're in the wrong park for this..."
