Funniest comments you've overheard in WDW

This actually happend to my Dh and my brother. My Dh and I got married last July in Disney, and for the wedding rehersal all the bridesmaids and grooms men wore matching shirts. They were the Mickey and Minnie dressed up in wedding attire with our names underneath along with the date. Well after all the rehersals and everything the grooms men wanted to take my DH out to get a few drinks at Epcot. My DH and my brother hopped on the monorail, not thinking that they should change their shirts, since they were no longer around the whole wedding party, and they were sitting on a monorail. Well my DH and brother were talking and he could not help but notice that the couple across from them jsut kept on staring at them. Finally my Dh said, "hey hows it going?" The couple replied with a " Good and congratulations". They thought my DH and brother were the ones getting married, since my name could also pass for a mans! After my Dh explained that they were the rehersal shirts, and they were going to meet up with everyone in Epcot for some drinks, the couple was so embarrased! When they finally arrived at Epcot, to their shocked, every one had changed leaving the two of them wearing "The Happily Ever After" shirts!

I was in EPCOT today in Morocco and this husband and wife were walking up to the camel and the husband said "What country is this" without missing a beat the wife replied "MOSCOW!!!!!" she was serious!!!

I'd love to see a camel in Moscow. Think they hook snowplows up to them?

Maybe in the category of "I guess you had to be there", but this is something I overheard back in 1985, on our first visit to WDW. We were on the train, and a family got on and sat down near us. They all had very strong southern accents, which somehow made this funnier, so when you read this quote, you need to say it in your very best southern drawl. Little boy, probably about 10years old, to his mother, "Oh momma, I thought you said RAIN ride!"

My kids were 9 and 10 at the time, now 31 and 32. We still say this to each other, and it still makes me laugh remembering it! Thanks for the memory!

We had a couple of memorable ones from our last visit.

This one wasn't overheard but said directly to me by a CM who was ringing up my purchases at Mouse Gears in Epcot. "So--are you all just visiting?"

I was trying to think up a response when DH piped up, "Oh, no, we live at Disney World--just outside the International Gateway."

I think he meant to ask where we were visiting FROM but he was distracted and I don't think he ever did realize exactly what he'd said.

Another one I did overhear at the Emporium at the MK (I don't know what it was with stores this trip!) As we were leaving I heard a man say indignantly, "HEY. All they sell here is Mickey Mouse stuff!"

Really? At Disney World? Imagine that!

Our family favorite came one afternoon at MK when a dad obviously frustrated that his kids were scared of so many of the rides, characters, etc was YELLING at the kids, "IT'S FAKE...IT'S ALL FAKE!" As we walked away, dh whispered, "Way to spread the Magic"!! We cracked up!

I love it when your waiting for bus and it pulls up with where it's going on the front and on the side and someone ask the driver if this bus is going to what ever is on the front and side of the bus. That cracks me up.

We're just back from an amazingly wonderful five days - and here's one of my funny moments.

My 2-year-old granddaughter had been running around in one of the Fort Wilderness stores, and she fell and smacked her head on the floor. She's very fair-skinned, so this left a big red bump on her forehead. A while later, after we'd picked up our purchases and were getting ready to pay for them. The CM at the cash register said to my granddaughter: "Oh, how did you hurt your head?" She said "Like this!" and ran across the floor, then threw herself down, once again smacking her head on the floor. The funniest part was the horrified expression on the CM's face.
