Fully paid DW hotel

Anyone else sitting on pins and needles for this afternoon's announcement? I'm unsure what we'll do.
Has anyone started calling Disney to cancel? What was your experience with DW if you fully paid your room and needed to cancel/postpone? We don't have a package, I bought everything piecemeal.

I am not planning to cancel unless some drastic measures are implemented or the border is closed. Back in August though, we were within 7 days of travel to WDW when cases were exploding over there like crazy. Technically our pkg was non-refundable at that point, but they allowed us to either cancel or move to Disneyland (which we did) - but we had our TA call.

Pardon my ignorance. I assume this big announcement is Ontario related?
Though we are neighbours and follow behind like puppies so it would be nice to know what the announcement will mean to us in a week or two.

It's a federal announcement on travel (although each province is supposed to be making an announcement on any new measure and sped-up booster timelines this afternoon).

Ontario is making an announcement too. But I think that’s about boosters?
