Fuel Prices Where We Live

Local TV news said when fuel prices were on their way up, when it hit the price per barrel it is now gas was $3.10 PG, on the way down same price per barrel but gas is $3.50 PG average. What's wrong with that picture?

just looking out office window right now I see the price of gas @ 1.28 a litre (Whitby,Ontario):

I worked in Whitby a little when I was with Dunlop tire. Is that office still there? I was there in 81-82.

By the way, you guys pay high prices for gas AND sporting events, I understand that Bills tickets for tonight's preseason game are going for $250 and up! What a joke that is! But it is being played in the Rogers Centre - that's gotta be worth something! Those prices gotta come down - gas and Bills TIX

I was thinking the same thing. We are still paying well over $4.00 a gallon here..closer to $4.25....yet I'm watching the news and they're reporting the barrel price is down..and we're still paying within pennies of what we paid when it was at it's highest.
I also noticed when we were in Fl. last week, we paid $3.73 a gallon for regular. Quite a difference from here in NY.

No **** Phyllis. When we drove to NC last week we paid from $3.51 to $3.79 pg. When we got back here it was $4.06. What a rip off!

WOOOO HOOO, I was out this morning, and Diesel was $4.15 Only needs to come down about $3 a gallon, and it will be right on!

Not only is fuel prices killing us at the pumps, I've been pricing new tires,,, OUCH.

Regular here is like $3.55 now. I hope it keeps going down.
They are so quick to raise the price when oil is high but when it starts to drop they are super slow dropping our gas prices. It stinks.

Its a sick and twisted world when diesel selling for less than $4/gal gets out attention.

In my area (Southwest La.) it's down to about $3.65. Heck, oil is being drilled just a few miles from my house and about 150 miles from home in the Gulf. You wouldn't believe how many people complain when other states don't want to drill but we all pay about the same price.

Hoping it stays below 4$.. extra $ for wine/beer at the Foodnwine Fest.. Dh has been doing since he knows Im the mean of queen when it comes to extra $ for fun things....
