Frozen Sing-a-long at DHS is awesome!

If you had a princess loving but not Frozen obsessed 4 year old, which would you choose -- Beauty and the Beast or Frozen? (To be clear, she likes Frozen, but it's not her absolute favorite)
Beauty and the Beast. Great Live Show! However it doesn't have AC.

My mom and girls loved this show last year and we look forward to it again. Was a surprise hit for us too!!!

I'd pick Frozen. The Historians of the show are hilarious. Besides, the theatre is air conditioned. Nonetheless, B&TB is a great live show. Try to see both.

DD and I wanted to see it and DH went along willingly although not excited about it....we all loved it. Now we see it multiple times a trip - it's just so much fun. And each set of historians plays it a little bit differently which is fun to see.

This is nearly identical to my family's experience - except I was the DH in our situation.

Very entertaining, the historians are hilarious. Also the little kids in the audience singing along with the gesticulations from the movie are priceless. This is waayyy better than it needed to be. :earsboy:

My DH and DD4 loved it. I was stuck with our toddler who does not like to sit for shows yet. I'm bummed I missed it!

Is this one you have to arrive early for, or can you pretty much get in just before the show starts?
I'd be interested in the answer to this as well. How long do you have to stand in line? How hard is it to get in without a fast pass. Mine are all tied up with other stuff.

Me and my husband went to it, no kids, and Loved It! We do really like frozen but we would have loved this even if we didn't. It is funny and a good show.

It was funny, the guy who was sitting on the other side of me did not look like he would be into Frozen at all. It was so funny, after the show started and it came to the first song...he was belting out that song with feeling. He knew ALL the words. My DH looked over at me and we smiled at each other. Then we sang along haha!

I would advise arriving early for the showtime you are wanting as it is popular. We aren't going to FP+ but I could see how it'd be good for there. Stupid tiers.

Our whole family enjoys this show...including my 11 yo son. He would never admit it...but I heard him singing!

Figured I would report back about this, based on our recent trip. Short summary - yes, this is a good show. Assuming you don't absolutely hate Frozen, it's worth taking the time to see.

We got there about 10 minutes ahead of time for the 6:30 show on a pretty busy day, and had OK seats. I would NOT get there right as the show is starting (the theater was full for us), but probably even just 5 minutes beforehand was still OK. No reason to get there super-early, though.

I didn't actually have much hope for this show - we went mainly since my 8 year old daughter is a fan of Frozen. Without giving the whole thing away, there's more to it than just the sing-along, and the overall show is really well done. My 14 year old daughter (who makes it a point to say that she does not like Frozen) was asking to skip it, but we told her no...she was smiling throughout almost the entire thing (although she didn't join in all the singing). The younger daughter loved it, and my wife and I had a really fun time, too. While we didn't have high expectations, I think we both felt this was the biggest "better than expected surprise" of our whole trip. And, the sing-along was the ideal way to put together a show based on this movie.

If you've seen Beauty and the Beast before but not this, I'd go for this one first. If it's just a one-or-the-other choice, I don't think you'll go wrong with either one. I'd put it ahead of the Voyage of the Little Mermaid (which we also enjoy, and is shorter), and even the Indiana Jones stunt show (which is very different, but kind of slow sometimes).

We saw it in May and LOVED it! My 22 year old daughter requested it. None of the rest of us were that excited, but it was a highlight of the day!
