Frozen Holiday Premium Package at HS

Yeah. The more I ponder this event the less value I see in it. But I don't regret my ticket purchase yet. I can cancel.. I almost feel like there has to be more to it. Or I just bought a really expensive pin. Lol.

I agree, but there was no harm in booking it. Maybe they will add more to it based on response? We will be there end of November so I will read reviews and decide then if to keep or cancel. We have that luxury of not being the guinea pigs!

Not sure to be upset at Disney or the people rushing to these types of events. All it's going to lead to is a diminishing of the value of your original park tickets.
Agree that I don't like seeing Disney take advantage of their guests. They stick the word "Frozen" on an event that really doesn't have much to do with Frozen and they can make folks pay twice for something (guests are already paying to see the sing a long and lights). I think this should come with a private meet and greet with Frozen characters after the sing along.

I haven't had time to read the whole thing but does this automatically get you into the frozen sing along or do you still need a fast pass? I had previously gotten a fast pass but this will allow me to get something else
Does anyone know this? I bought into it for the grand kids and for the opportunity to chill. We don't go often and I plan to retire in 2 years so I'm blowing it out this time. The girls will love it and that's what this trip is about. I just want to know if I can get another fast pass and let the sing along fp go

it must get you in.

You get reserved seating at the singalong. You won't need a fastpass.

But possibly they think it is worthwhile to have reserved seating for the singalong without having to use FP, or a private place outside of the crowd to view and a dessert party during the Osborne lights. I don't place much value on those, but someone else might, and it's not up to me to consider them "ripped off" or "taken advantage of."

I'm still finding it hard to believe that for $89 they couldn't have thrown in an A&E M&G (or maybe Olaf).

I am a sucker for an up-sell or a "premier" event but I can't see the value at all here. Unless you are a serious pin trader everything else is available in the park.

You can get your buzz on for a tenth of the cost on way stronger liquor and have the value of your kids tickets in your pocket to buy some serious merchandise.

It gets you into the Sing Along of your choice. This is from the link in the 1st POST of this Thread:

Guests can check in at Guest Relations beginning at park opening to receive their credential for identification and select one (1) “For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration” show time, which take place from 10:25 AM to 6:00 PM. Please note when making Fastpass+ selections that Guests who purchase the premium package will receive reserved premium viewing for the show.

If it works like it did in the summer, there is a special line for those with the premium package. Once the doors are opened you'll be let in first to go and sit in the center section, first 3 or 4 rows. That section is roped off for the package people until about 5 minutes before the show when they open the seating up to anybody entering. It'll be packed during Christmas so the package option may not be a bad idea, otherwise I'd tell you to get in line 30-45 minutes before a show to get a good seat.

Although I'm still amazed they can charge an whole separate admission just for a few perks.

I know..I was breaking this one down to see if it's worth it for me, and even with unlimited alcohol (assuming it's like the other parties they had for premium packages) it's not. Not this time. If they had charged $50 it might have been, but not $90. I would definitely like to know what the market value of the lithograph and pin might be though. for some I'm assuming the reserved singalong and private area for the lights might be worth at least that much to avoid Xmas crowds, but I don't go that close to Christmas.

It just occurred to me that I could have booked another Christmas Party night for roughly the same price. There has to be more to this... I imagine they will not be able to have Anna and Elsa there in full view of other guests or there would be a stampede/riot. As I recall people dismissed the potential value of Harambe, and it turned out to be great. Maybe this event will surprise (probably not).

The timing for the Frozen Summer package worked the same way. The desert party portion started before the fireworks but you still had the same spot to watch the fireworks. Sounds like for this they are having the deserts and beverages before the lighting begins. Once they light them you can filter out and not miss the desert and drink portion.

At 8:30pm during Christmas Week though?

Neither the Star Wars nor the Frozen Summer premium packages included character greetings. They cost less than this one does though. I was wondering if the difference was made up by offering merchandise. Not sure how valuable that might be to various parties, since I assume a party of 4 would end up with 4 of the same lithograph and 4 of the same pin.

This doesn't seem like anything special idk? You can see the singalong anyways and the lights so what really are you paying for that's unique/different for an experience. A re severs viewing spot won't do it for me..

You get a seat in the 3rd, 4th, or 5th center rows of the theater. Seats that are not filled in by the package are later filled in by standby before the doors close.

I can appreciate that it's a brilliant marketing move to call something a "Frozen" premium event, when really it's not. The Osborne lights have nothing whatsoever to do with Frozen. There are FP+s available for the singlongs, and we've seen not one report of people not being able to get into a singalong throughout the summer. If they would have marketed this for what it really is (an Osborne lights dessert party) there's no way they would be able to charge that amount. As a guest, I'm angry that they're praying on the naivete of most of their guests, who can convince themselves there's something of value here or who think this is a valuable package because it has the words "premium" and "Frozen" associated with it.

Sunday Sept 28th, there were shows that reached SRO and some people didn't get in and chose to wait in standby for the next show.

So I could see this being a common occurrence during the holidays. Especially when crowds are high, and especially since it is an attraction that now accepts the DAS card.

Wait, there isn't a package line like before? They need to make FP+? I'm confused.

I still think this is highly overpriced but now I am wondering if we should do it.

We have planned to see the Osborne lights the Saturday after Thanksgiving- which I hear can be pretty busy.

Do you think it is worth it if it means having more elbow room? I have a 3 and 5 year old so I worry a bit about crowds with them.

Since there are four of us we really don't need 4 pins or lithographs. I wonder if these will be special and I could probably just sell a couple on ebay to get some money back but who knows how much they would go for.

the parks will be packed. Do you have a sit down meal planned that day? If you are looking for some elbow room and some down time, I'd book a reservation at a restaurant. It would be cheaper. A lot cheaper. Probably 1/3 of the cost of this. On the other hand, no one will know what this "package" is really like until the first one takes place and the reviews start coming in. By then it will probably be sold out for the date you want.

I did the Star Wars and Frozen premium packages over the summer and plan to do the Frozen soiree (if/when they announce it) at MVMCP. With all that said, this "premium package" sounds like lunacy.

It very much feels like an executive was concerned that Disney was charging $69 for the premium party at DHS and $99 for the Villains Soiree at MK and said "Hmmmm, what can we do to bring the prices for each event more in line with one another?"

The solution was to add an $8 pin and $3 lithograph. Disney can convince me almost anything is worth it. But I just can't figure out where anyone would see the value in this.

With the Frozen Summer package, you had to get to the park earlyish for a parade, so it was easy to pick up your singalong show passes. But they've basically created an event that is a late-afternoon/evening event but you have to check in during the morning hours if you want to have a decent chance at having your choice of singalong times.

This event just seemed vastly overpriced and the elements (as they stand now) just don't make a price that high worth it. And as for the suggestion of booking and then hoping Disney adds something to the event? Just remember that if there's a rush of bookings, Disney has no motivation to add to the event because it will appear to be selling just fine.

Wait, there isn't a package line like before? They need to make FP+? I'm confused.

There should be a Package line for the Credentialed guests. The statement is confusing in the description. It should just read: "You Do Not Need A FP if you Buy The Package!"

Please help! I understand you get 1 Frozen Sing Along show b/t 10:25am-6pm, Osborne Family Lights viewing, "Actual Seats" at the Dessert Party, Lithograph & pin. Enter and leave as you wish starting @ 6pm until 8pm. Okay. Got it!

Questions: How does this work with Fantasmic!? Right now F! is @ 6:30pm & 8pm. We have F! Dinner Package, so that would be the 6:30pm show. Will the F! times change? Next, I read there was a "lighting ceremony" for the Osborne lights. I can't find it now. I think it said nightly around 5:30pm. So how would that work for special viewing? :confused3

Thanks in advance!
