Frozen Holiday Premium Package at HS

^^ I'm sure you pay for this when booking.

This is a perfect example of picking and choosing what is worth it to you for a special event. I attended the Villains Soiree for priority viewing of parade and fireworks, then a whole event inside the castle with a bunch of my favorite villains and felt it was worth every penny.

This, I don't really see the value in at all. Special seats for the sing a long? Are there any bad seats? Special observation for Osborne Lights? We like to stroll through those, not stand in one spot and watch them? The alcohol and desserts I guess. I am ALL for them having a spectacular Frozen ticketed event, and heck, make it as expensive as you want and it will sell out! I just don't see the value in this one at all. Then again, I'm just luke-warm with Frozen so maybe that is why? Hopefully there will be something better than this offered at MVMCP for the Frozen people.

ETA: Do you even get to meet A&E??

I think this is the worst one yet.

Harambe Nights was $120 pp and you got real food, I think dessert, drinks and the chance to hang out in AK after close which is kind of cool. I could see a couple doing that as a fun night out.

I predict this one doesn't do well.

Not sure to be upset at Disney or the people rushing to these types of events. All it's going to lead to is a diminishing of the value of your original park tickets.

Like others I just don't see the value in this package. Granted, my fiancé and I are not the target group for this - mid-20s, no kids and and have a slight resentment for Frozen (RIP Maelstrom) - but I can do basically all of this for free or at a much cheaper cost myself. I have never seen the Osbourne Lights but would rather walk around and take it all in while eating a cupcake, and I can get a FP for the sing along. Unless the lithograph was made by Anna and Elsa themselves I will pass.

We decided to go for it, we are bringing my daughter's boyfriend along for his first ever disney trip and I want him to see and experience EVERYTHING!! Besides I am the one obessed with Frozen- just loved the movie, songs etc. I guess I am just an adult kid- but seriously I am really excited for this. Is is expensive- YES! Is it worth it...PROBABLY NOT but we don't travel to Disney all that much every few years sometimes longer so overall it is worth it to us!!

:thumbsup2

totally agree !!! We always leave strolling thru the "OL" area, and getting some hot cocoa---- dont think I would want to sit for it---

And priority for the "sing-along" ??? Um.....

Hmm, can't see what you're getting with this one. Osborne Lights: Can do that with regular ticket Sing-A-Long: Can do that with regular ticket Desserts and alcohol: I guess Seems steep. I find these Frozen events fascinating. I would think they would be a big draw for families with kids, but then they throw the alcohol in and make the price so steep. Compared to the dessert party at MK which is much more reasonably priced and you get a seat and a table. $59 dollars for a kid to eat dessert?

Exactly! So basically you just get a special place to stand and sit to see something everybody else in the park gets to se. Plus a cupcake & hot chocolate (I'm assuming) & a pin & lithograph. All for the low-low price of $89!! At least with the Sinister Soiree (not a fan of a hard ticket event within a hard ticket event BTW) you got a meet & greet!

I am really scratching my head at this one. Even BEING a fan of the hard ticket event within a hard ticket event I just do not understand this hard ticket event!

I hated the Villain Soiree thread because it was so negative and I was very excited for the chance to meet my villains and loved the idea of it so much! So I don't want to put down something that others think is awesome and take the fun out of it for them. But I would love someone to explain how it is preferable to be stuck in a roped off area on the border of the Osborne Lights eating dessert rather than buying a big fat Olaf cupcake at Pizza Planet and strolling around seeing them from all angles?

I booked it just because I don't want to kick myself later if we want to go and there is no availability. We weren't planning an ADR for that night anyway just snacking through the world showcase and then heading over to see Osbourne Lights. Hoping reviews come in closer to our trip and I can decide if its worth to keep or not.

I can appreciate that it's a brilliant marketing move to call something a "Frozen" premium event, when really it's not. The Osborne lights have nothing whatsoever to do with Frozen. There are FP+s available for the singlongs, and we've seen not one report of people not being able to get into a singalong throughout the summer. If they would have marketed this for what it really is (an Osborne lights dessert party) there's no way they would be able to charge that amount. As a guest, I'm angry that they're praying on the naivete of most of their guests, who can convince themselves there's something of value here or who think this is a valuable package because it has the words "premium" and "Frozen" associated with it.

It's also just a tiny bit creepy that they are selling this as a "Frozen" event. Other than special seats at the sing a long (roll eyes), and maybe some desserts shaped like Olaf which you can readily get elsewhere, where is the "Frozen"? I feel like it's the Osborne Lights Dessert Party, affectionately referred to as the "Frozen Premium Package", so as to sell it out the day of announcement.

Okay, I'm not even going to be there so I will be quiet now!

I was posting the same thing at the same time!

Will the characters be at the party for pics?

Doesn't mention character appearances anywhere. Looks like the only place you'd see characters would be at the singalong.

Frozen show, Frozen merch, Frozen themed party (they'll likely have the Anna and Elsa and Olaf cupcakes), they are stretching it a bit to get Frozen fit in but right now they do know that anything with Frozen on it will sell.

This one doesn't diminsh my regular tickets at all. I have a fastpass for the singalong, will buy some adult beverages and snacks and stroll the O lights, and stay awhile so that when people start leaving it's not so crowded. Don't think I would have wanted the lithograph or pin anyway.

Yeah. The more I ponder this event the less value I see in it. But I don't regret my ticket purchase yet. I can cancel.. I almost feel like there has to be more to it. Or I just bought a really expensive pin. Lol.

It's better than calling "The $89 Frozen cupcake"

And PIN! AND LITHOGRAPH!

BTW, we returned from a Disney vacation at the end of August, and we just got a Mickey lithograph in the mail, FOR FREE, as a thank you for visiting. So I'm thinking those lithographs cost the company pennies if they send something similar out regularly (we've received them in the past, too).
