iPhones arrive in a week.....
Well lucky you, cause the weather truly sucks in scotland!!Kayak thing does indeed sound fab.Hey everyone....
We're finally having summer here. Took Jack to our very awesome local aquarium that has a water play area in it, the weather couldn't have been better and we had a very tired toddler at the end of it. We're also getting ready for our brief but very anticipated Wonder cruise in 3 weeks. We haven't been on the Wonder in 10 years.
Started to just look at ports and what there is to do. While we would love the snorkel, with Jack it's not really a possibility. I found a private shore excursion in Aruba that would be a sea kayak tour to De Palm Island which allows us to kayak with Jack. That would be awesome. I have very found memories of kayaking in Cabo with TDC Nala (and the wave that fried her camera).
Glad you got your premier pass Alan, it's amazing how difficult Disney can make things!!!

Wow I had no clue that so many of you work in the medical field. Forget the high price ships doctor, I will count on you guys.
Hello all. DDs oral surgery went well. The recovery....now that is a different story. She kept bleeding most of the day. She hasn't been able to hold anything down, not even her medication. Which worries me. We tried three times to give her antibiotics, and none of it stayed down. We will try again tomorrow. If she can't take any in the morning, I think I will call her doctor. My biggest fear right now is infection. We'll see how it goes tomorrow.
It's wonderful to know we have so many people on this cruise in the medical field. I have so much respect for you all with everything you do.![]()
From what I read now, you can have something on your card instead of toting the mug around to get the deal. My brother (using his PhD skills) figured out it takes 9 beers to break even for the mug. On a 4 day cruise that's hard, on a 7 days cruise it's doable, on our cruise, it's incredibly doable.Try putting a cold wet tea bag on the spot and leaving it there. My dentist gave me that tip when I had an extraction and it worked beautifully.
The beer mug question - yes, you still have to pay for the refills, but at the rate for the smaller size beer, instead of the price for what the mug actually holds. My husband found it a darn nuisance to carry the thing around in case he 'might' want a beer - and the amount he saved, he'd have had to drink a lot to break even.

I always like hearing happy NICU stories. My last job was very depressing, we were the dumping grounds for all the really bad cases in the area. Lots of very sick babies who weren't going to get better. When we had a happy case we help onto those kids in our hearts for a very long time. Thanks to Facebook I can follow my "babies". My current job is in a small community hospital, much better outcomes since the average baby isn't that sick....the heart surgery was WAY easier!!!
This just sounds dreadful! I hope DD comes around quickly. I hate vomiting!!!!
JenKat, my DS spent his first week in the world in the ICU. You will see first hand how the marvelous work you people do pays off, when you meet him. Despite the rough start and the heart condition. He is HUGE-NORMOUS, has met all his milestones and for all appearances is damn healthy. I attribute a good deal of this to the help he got in the beginning...KUDOS to everyone who takes health care on as a profession!!!!
