Good morning. Well I am starting the packing phase of getting ready to go to WDW. Looks like I will need warm stuff. Just a request, you all that live in winter can you keep it until march 5.

WOW! I'm impressed! Dh retired from the military, we dropped out, went back to school for two years and lived in poverty. (It was worth it!)

I haven't posted much since trying to get us off of page #1.

Steve and I are trying to decide if we want to stay 2 or 3 days after the cruise at DL. We've never been and have an old friend that lives 30 minutes away. We keep going back and forth on it.

If we don't stay, we're thinking of trying HHI for a long weekend next year so it's really a win win.

Happy Monday Morning Everyone!

Hope everyone had a great weekend. We had lovely weather but it is supposed to turn wet and cold tomorrow - perhaps even snow! That would be twice this year for Houston if it does. According to a news report I read, it has only snowed 4 times in the last 15 years here (including once this year and once last year).

Don't think we'll be visiting DL next year. DH will need to get home to go work so we'll be flying home on Friday evening to give him a couple of days to get back into the real world.

I would say go even if you have been before, but since you've never been, you should DEFINITELY go to DL afterwards since you'll be right there! It is such a different experience from WDW, and something every Disney lover should do at least once. Even if you only do 2 days there, you'll have a nice time and gives you a way to ease back into reality after the cruise.

NOOOOOOOOO! Keep the winter out of Florida until after March 8th! I'm heading to WDW on March 4th and want weather like we had last year at that time - mid-80s. So nice - wore shorts for the 5K race. The 8K race we did here Saturday morning started when the temperature was 48º. BRRRRRR!

Unless something changes, you won't see mid-80s. I can't think the last time we were that high. We hit the low 70's yesterday in Tampa and we were thrilled. Suppose to be barely 60 this Thursday with a low of 39. Temps in Orlando run a few degrees cooler and warmer than that.

I keep checking weather.com and hoping, still no luck. I am telling myself that it is all a joke as winter does come to central FL. Oh well. I should stop and realize the weather is the weather. I am the one who suggested the bracelets as I ordered them for my last cruise As we get closer to the date I will start taking actual orders to see how many people are interested. Then we can vote on color and the saying. It really was a nice way to recognize people and I know that the Dis'ers with kids told them that if they got lost and couldn't find a castmember they could go up to someone with a bracelet because we were safe well some of us...

Unfortunately WEATHER and CLIMATE are two different things. Global warming causes disruption in the weather patterns. (Sorry, the scientist coming out. I'll go back in the hole)

I will, I was looking forward to enjoying a waterpark this trip but it is not looking good. If anyone is a Baseball Tonight fan, they are doing a broadcast from the big Mickey hat on Sunday. I plan on being there. If you are watching look for the ugly dude in the Dodger hat. I may be in my Lakers shirt or have Dodger jacket on, I might have my PC 08 hoodie on. Not sure, but I will have my Dodger hat on.

Here the quick list of excursions that Disney put together for Manzanillo 2005, when the we were detoured because of "Hurricane Hillary". Sorry they are not real clear, I don't know how to scan info in, I had to take a picture of it. I'm sure the list will be longer this time.
