I read lots of cruise forums, but rarely post. The bracelet idea has brought me out of hiding for the PC cruise. Since DH and I will be cruising without any family or friends this time, it would be great to share a wave or a hi as we walk around the ship, especially on sea days. Just thought I would add my vote, so that if there are bracelets, we can be included.

We loved having the lanyards on our Halloween cruise for the same reason -- you can see a Diser a mile away on Castaway Cay. pirate:

Well, stop lurking girl, come out here and let's make friends!:thumbsup2

I'm going through my pre-cruise checklist, yes I really can't wait :lmao: Question to those who've taken the Repo or longer than 7-night cruises, is there a wine package for those specific cruises? I know on the 3-night there is a 3 bottle package, 4 for 4 and 7 for 7...is there a 15 for ours? Any information of the pricing -- basic package & premium package?

Thanks for all of the suggestions about what to do between our arrival time to MCO and boarding the ship. They were very helpful.

Does anyone else knit in the group? I'd love to get a group together on board to knit with.

Welcome! :grouphug:

Jenkatt, I crosstitch, so if you want to get a miscellaneous group together, I am in.

Have a good day everyone!

I am a graduate B pony clubber. My horse Streets was in the Movie Somethig to Talk About. He was the Grey horse. I so miss riding. Do not use Prime Time shuttle! We used them last time in California they were 45 min late picking us up and then took us 2 hours to get to Disneyland.

I know I emailed disney and asked, they said wine packages would be released nearer the time, but not sure when!
The jig is up. I was rereading the thread, i had told my dd, but not shown her. As soon as she saw the black and white she said, "Is that MY horse mommy?" Oi!

Oh bless.:cloud9:

I don't knit, but I do scrapbook and make cards, so if you have a general craft get together, I'm in. ALWAYS bring stuff to do because it seems as though I can't go two weeks without paper.:rotfl2:

Today is our group birthday party. I'm making homemade whole wheat pizza and broccoli with garlic. y'all come?

My mother knits alot, I don't know whether she'd have luggage space for much wool but if she does I'm sure she'd enjoy joining in a knitting session.

Oh, what a wonderful idea to get us knitters/crafters together! Isn't there a conference room on the Wonder to use for such activites? If I remember---we used a restaurant for the wonderful scrapbooking session on the first-ever 5 night cruise on the Magic. Alas, I never completed my scrapbook---I work with paper/documents all day long and the last thing I want to do when I get home is work with more paper!

When I turned 40, I had a mini-mid-life-crisis and turned to sewing, knitting, spinning and felting--it is all so much fun!

I am a stitcher, see me thread:rotfl2: I needlepoint, cross-stitch and go blind:lmao: Not sure which needle project I'll have with me, but I would love to join a group session while on board. Great idea!!!:cool1::cool1:

Thanks to Disney's 'Give a Day. Get a Disney Day.', we will be at the Magic Kingdom for 'free' over Spring Break.:cool1: The process was SO simple & our volunteer opportunity reminded us all again how blessed we are! The vouchers are an incredible piece of Don "Ducky" Williams artwork, that I have framed the colored copies and will take standard black/white copy for redeeming at the park.

In case you were thinking 'how does she know Ducky Williams' art? We have been honored to sail 4 times with him and his adorable brother. Ducky spent a quiet moment at the railings on Deck 4 with my daughter, then 8, and drew her a marvelous Sorcerer Mickey with personalized autograph. The 3 subsequent sailings he has remembered our family and we have been fortunate enough to 'win' his raffled drawings which all hang in DD's room (there is no room in my home office/disney domain anyway as they are all poster-sized:rotfl:). Ducky IS the Disney Art department and does all the drawings by hand --> all the print work (brochures, mailings, daily schedules) publications are his. On board the Magic & Wonder, the elevator 'hands' are his too!:wizard:

I was in that class! (and I did finish my book) I think we got to use Animators because the organizer of the crop knew the restaurant manager - not that it's a regular thing. They have a scrapbook activity now, hosted by the future cruise manager, but it's mostly a couple pieces of paper and some tubs of foam letters/shapes and some kind of glue, while she talks about future cruises.

Does anyone know how far in advance the different shore excursions are available for viewing online so you can see what you might be interested in? I know about the booking windows, but I cant seem to find anywhere about when you can just LOOK at what excursions will be offered?
