O.K. I did it! Whew!
Well, at least I feel like I'm doing something, even if I am not even close to having things settled.
Now if anyone happens to see the weekend of the 15th open up, please let me know! I would be eternally grateful!

Editing to say that those dates are gone now. Must have been only one standard POR room available.

Did you get it booked before the dates disappeared??

my dd was on the disney website looking at resorts...she came running over to me and said that Disney has a room that has stars in it...she's 6. I checked and it's POR RR...I remember reading about how eveyone wants POR but it has been sold out for FD..so I had to break her heart and say we couldnt get that, but I'll secretly keep checking for it

Our dates are nov 10 - 17 with the 10th having to be a RO reservations.

Please keep trying and don't give up. I was able to get it today for our Thanksgiving trip. I haven't told my daughter yet ~ gonna save it as a surprise. She will be so happy. for you!

I guess you missed my earlier posts, its been so busy here. : ) I did book that last night, but decided to call in this afternoon to see if I could add on the first days and the CM said He found some Disney Magic for me and was seeing rooms available for my whole week! I still plan on staying at AoA the last night, my TA had that on hold for me already. Yay!

Surely something will open up! Since you know that the 10th would be a RO, would you consider booking a royal room for that one night at regular rack rate, or would that break her heart even more? Maybe you could tell her that special princesses get to stay in those rooms for one night before moving to their regular hotels?

I would also do 2 things - make sure that your TA knows that you are interested in a royal room and make sure she keeps checking, and/or continue to check on it yourself daily.

Just wondering. Did anyone else who had to call and cancel a Non-FD ressie after booking a FD ressie catch a hard time from a CM?

I didn't, and I had to cancel two extra.

Yeah I'm not thrilled with that either. Looking at it, looks like they need cut apart with scissors. Can anyone else confirm this before I do anything? The last ones I had, I thought they just came apart.

Do they snap apart? Have you tried bending them? It looks like there is a small piece of plastic in between them.

why does the wdw website never work? sorry cannot display reservations at this time! there are error messages left and right! i dont know why they cannot get that website together????? can anyone view their reservations now?

I know... Earlier I was checking a couple of things and was presented with a LONG survey specifically about the Web site, had it been down today, etc.

I filled it out. Maybe somebody has finally noticed it's an issue.

Oh my goodness!!! I need help advice or something!! I emailed my ta today and received a response that hold times were over 5 hours and they are still trying.

I asked if they would be working over the weekend or if it wouldn't be to Monday and stressed how we don't want to miss this deal.

She responded with saying they will be working over the weekend but that it is not good for our travel dates. It ends the 23 (of November) and picks up December 2nd. We check in on 23. A Disney cm quoted me a price for free dining but I stupidly told him I'd hold off because I believed my ta would come through and I didn't want to double book, plus we are ttraveling with 2 other families and all our adrs are made. What do I do?????

I would try to get your own reservation online right this second, but also email her back and let her know that your check in date is the 23rd and that you know that checking in that day will make you eligible for your entire trip. She should know the rules of checking in on a covered date. ADRs should not be affected. If you booked any prepay meals, you can take care of the payment issues later.

Try to book your own online now. I wouldn't wait. Once you are booked, I would send her an email telling her "thanks for all your effort, but I booked a free dining package for my dates. Please cancel the reservation I currently have with you."

I did email back stating exactly that.

I am so stressed now! The others traveling with us are first timers and already are overwhelmed I can't imagine springing this on them!!!

Feeling a little psychotic - yesterday I booked pop for FD at 4:00 am (on top of my existing reservation for the same time) then on impulse I booked cbr for the same time frame at 8:00 am online. I was on hold for an hour yesterday afternoon - wanted to go ahead and cancel what I didn't want - kept the cbr resort reservation. We've only done quick service so I was excited about moving up to the regular dining... until I started to make reservations. I had no trouble getting reservations for what I wanted, but half-way through I started having buyer's remorse --- I hate the idea of having to be locked into being somewhere at a specific time everyday. Plus - last time we had free dining I left disney five pounds heavier. I'm going to call it pleasure island syndrome - we ate more desserts that week than we would eat in an entire year. I think they had two snacks per day then - am I remembering wrong?

I'm all better now though... i just booked the Biergarten - I don't care if the food is good or not, I love polka music!!
