Free Dining is Back!!! August 13 - September 30

Ok, this may be a dumb question, but why is everyone getting a MMY one day base ticket? Is this something with ap's and the package with dinning? Just trying to understand all the messages.

My travel agent was just telling me that her friend did this -- you need to go to guest services and have them take the park ticket OFF the room key and put it on a separate, normal ticket.

To answer the post above, I already have APs for my family, so I do not want to buy MYW tickets for 7 or 8 days...since we don't need them. But, to get the package, I need to buy at least a 1 day ticket. So, I will 1 day tickets for each member of my family...and what I would like to do is use them on our next vacation...which would be after the APs expire.

We are going down Aug. 22-26 Can some one tell me what it would cost for 2 adults and two teens(14, 16) for this package staying at POP century, Riverisde, or WL. We like to get two rooms for the bathrooms.
Do we need to get MYW tickets for everynight or can we just get them for four nights.

You can get the quote yourself. Just go onto the Disney website and get a quote for a MYW package for one adult, one teen in one room at Pop or wherever. Add the number of tickets you want. (You do not need to buy one ticket for each night, only one ticket per person is required to get free dining.) Don't add dining to the MYW package. When you get your quote, just double it for two rooms.

You have to buy at least a 1 day base with this package. I am buying the 1 day base then will use these tickets to upgrade to my DVC AP renewal (my current AP's will expire when I am there).

Thanks everyone for answering my two package question. I crunched some numbers and if they're right it'll cost less than my original package, before I even added on the room only nights!! This is so exciting!

I was planning on booking a trip from the end of September through the first week of October. If I do book while the free dining is added on will it carry through the rest of the trip even if it is past September 30?

I think that if one day of your stay is in the period that you get the deal for the whole time. Can anyone else confirm?

You are right.. Even if your stay starts may 30th you will get the deal for the rest of the days.

who were able to get this package. We had it last Aug/Sept and we just loved it! We are planning another trip for August 2007 and hope this comes around again then! Wish I was going this fall!! Have great trips!

FYI we tried to book free dining at Asmu Family Suite, and the CM said the suites are exempted from the promotion!

I'm so happy!

We already had a room only ressie at POFQ for 8/12-8/17. I just moved my dates by one day when I switched to the package (8/13-8/18). I cannot believe that I am so blessed to be getting free dining! That never happens to me. And I got all the ADR's I wanted, too!

We already had a trip planned from 9/23 - 10/7 - this was a great Birthday present for me on Saturday!! I can't wait to call tomorrow to book the first half of our trip w/free dining!!!

We've never used the DDP, so this will be a new experience for us!

Better news.. If you are staying in the resorts all days you can get free Dinning for all your days even if for the days after the 30th. At least for the first ten days.

Every person has to get the tickets, one day or ten days, or anything in between, but everyone needs to get at least one day.
