That's all just a big fat myth. It's only available to those lucky Visa members. Ya, that's right. Now...go about your biznizz and don't bother calling Monday morning. :rolleyes1:rolleyes1:laughing::laughing::lmao::lmao:

Nice try. I called on the first day of free dining last year, on the day it opened to the public, and was on hold an hour. You aren't getting out of the hour wait, nice try though!

I am so worried...LOL. I could not get the day off Monday and am supposed to leave the house for work at 8:00. That gives me one hour exactly - my friend at work is already advised to cover for me if I stroll in a little late...

I hope I can get through and everything booked in an hour.:scared:

I have a Travel Agent just for this reason, I'm a substitute school teacher and I can't always have my scedule open to call when I want so I have her handle this for me!! Works out great!!

I got nothin better to do that get up bright n early Monday mornin and listen to the cheery Disney Music whilst I wait. Hmm..I could start a good business sitting on hold for people couldn't I?

Nice try, but I'm not biting :rotfl:

I just finished crunching all different kinds of package numbers in order to figure out how to best go about changing our travel dates in order to get in on this offer.
I was playing around with the difference between value season and reg season pricing, free dining vs. no free dining, and even different resorts.

I have a headache :headache:

I just looked at my DS16 and told him that they are clueless as to how much time and energy I put into this Disney planning stuff. :surfweb:

My TA called to book my res. at Disney and asked about the dining coming out on Mon. for Gen. Pub. He told her it will come out, but don't count on it for Mon. I hope he is wrong!!!! I would of thought that he would at least of told her. I already booked my whole vacation and paid for the airfare (non refundable). So I'm really nervous (even though it will eventually come out). I'm still going to be checking the computer first thing on Mon., but until it comes out it won't be the same at work. How can I concentrate!! My boss will just have to understand. :rotfl2:

Last year I booked on line and there was no wait what so ever and I got exactly what I wanted. That is what I am telling my family members to do this year too.:) I booked bounceback last trip, but I am going with a GG this year so they need to hop on the Free dining train Monday.

This is taken from an email I got from my TA who is at Kingdom Magic:

I have heard hint free dining :) may be offered after 3/30 when Disney present discount for August travelers expires...

I booked Free Dining with a code in January and booked another reservation for my sister and her family on Thursday by phone with a Disney Visa. Tonight I was pricing out the package online (to see how much we saved) and selected the Magic Your Way dining. It did not change my price total and didn't say Disney Visa only promotion I didnt process it all the way through because we have our reservation but I thought maybe you sould try this and it may help you get your reservation before Monday. Good Luck!!!

i've just tried this and it added the dining price to my reservation, so i'm guessing if it was a glitch they've fixed it now.
oh well back to waiting til tomorrow!

I have a question about free dining -

I know that with free dining you have to buy a ticket, but what if you don't arrive until late in the day on your resort check in day, do you still pay for park passes that day?

I have some friends who will be checking in around 7 pm and won't be able to use park passes that day, do they still have to buy park passes for the check in day or can the package start the following day?

If they would have to buy the passes the free dining would not be worth it, so I'm just wondering

You can buy a pass for any number of days, you just have to buy at least a 1-day base ticket. Everyone on the ressie has to have the same type of ticket. So, if they only need a 4-day pass (for example), that's all they have to buy.

To receive the Free Dining discount, you must purchase a package.

To be considered a "package," you must purchase at least 1 (one) ticket for each person on the reservation.

You do not need to purchase tickets for each day of your stay.

I already have a ressie with the dining plan and am hoping to change it to free dining. What is the best way to go about this? Should I go online and try to book another ressie with free dining (on Monday morning-assuming it comes out on Monday) or call Disney and have them change over the ressie?
We are staying at CBR?
Thanks for the help!

Ok, I know this is a dumb question but what number do I call to book my trip? Also, I read you can start calling at 7am, is that Florida time or are they located somewhere's else?

I appreciate any info, I always used a travel agent in the past but this year I decided to do it myself.
