There has to be a deposit made with a DV on both rooms.

So if you did not put your room on a DV you will have to make a payment or if you did make your deposit on DV it should count and carry over.

For your sister's room to get a discount she will have to have a deposit on a DV as well.

(so two rooms two deposits, for the discount both must be made with a DV).

Was set on POR...want to book tomorrow but don't know if I should try for CBR or CS. Any input or advice? 2 adults, 11 yr old, and 9 yr old for 5 nights...

My first choice is CSR because of the queen beds. We have two tall big guys in our party of 26. Sadly it shows sold out for our dates. :-(((

Last year, POR non Royal rooms had very limited availability. More rooms opened up about two weeks into the offer. POR rooms for 5 were also hard to find but definitely possible. My advice is to book something and then stalk the website to see if rooms open up.

Well that gives me a tad bit if hope.

Have you stayed at POR? Same thing, theres a bus that just goes around the resort. I run every day, so not out of shape, and I can tell you the walk to the foodcourt was horrific after a day in the park. Plus, it was like a maze we kept getting lost I figure it cant be much worse, only prettier and the pool and beaches look nice.

Same here, in fact I'm about to leave for gym now, but dang it those islands all start to look alike and then you start tracking room numbers and realize you've passed it already! No, not POR, but POFQ......I'll gladly go back to WL for now on. I think I walked a 5k at CBR just trying to get from my building (Martinique) to the food court! Hahahaha!

Several people have SEEN the actual offer. Chase doesn't book the offers and has already given numerous amounts of bad info - number of minimum nights and tickets, exclusions, only some people get the offer, etc. You definitely don't have to be believe me. If you'd rather hear it from Joe I'm sure he'd confirm. The original post in this thread has been updated to exclude POR/POFQ.

I don't think the info about only people being included was chase. I think that was someone interpreting what was being said the wrong way.

D365N used at the Contemporary....worked like a charm, 11/1-11/9.

Did you get FD on those dates? We are planning Nov 7th-11th.

I'm confused because 11/1-11/9 were not within the dates provided by Joe...

We are planning 11/8-11/16, so because we have no Disney Visa we will have to wait until 5/7 to book. Going to book 11/8-11/9 room only, then 11/9-11/16 with dining plan(fingers crossed) at Pop.. I am thinking they should still have availability. Last year free dining didn't start until Monday 11/10/13 so we had to go 2 nights on a room only, this year it starts on a Sunday so only 1 night needed on room only!

October 26-November 1. That person is checking in 11/1 which covers free dining for their stay. It's your check in date that matters.

I don't have a DVC either, just anxiously awaiting the GP release. Only 1 more hour of work to go !

Looks like we'll end up at CBR, so I guess I'd better go research it! Not too keen on the double beds but maybe I'll get lucky and the refurb will be done (or at least in progress) by the end of Sept.

I really wanted POR but I'm comforted by the fact that my beach-loving DD will love the theme at CBR. And the pool there looks really cool too.

Thank you.. I should have known that but it didn't register. That week(11/1-11/9) is very popular with people from NJ. It's known as Jersey week so I was thinking Disney excluded it for that reason..
