Ok-I'm about to start a "Oh Woe is Me"...so be prepared to skip the message. My feet have been KILLING me for the past 9 mts to 1 yr (yes haven't quite been taking care of myself because I was dealing with the school district regarding ds's services - or lack thereof) now that ds is settled in private placement and a happy little guy (almost as tall as me and he's only 11) I figure I will make an appointment with a podiatrist thinking I have plantar fasciitis. He takes x-ray, puts 'em on the wall and point - "see this, you are on your way to a stress fracture of your heel" WHAT?!

Here the "Woe is Me" part. I have to wear a freakin' walking cast for the next 5-6 weeks!!! "But it's cute shoe season" I told him. "Not for you it isn't" he tells me.:(

This cast weighs about 5 pds. It's like wearing a ski boot. and its HOT!

So here I am trying to load up the RV (which is parked across the street 'cause it won't fit in the driveway
loser.gif
) hobbling back and forth with a laundry basket full of RV crap - I can't wait until the fun begins...;)

Ok I feel better now thanks :lovestruc

Don't you know that the DOCTOR gave you an excuse to use the "honey can you......." line ALL WEEKEND!!!! It is now HIS job to load the RV, get this, get that, while YOU sit and enjoy adult beverages all weekend :thumbsup2 Look at the cast as a perk not a burden :lmao: Have the kiddos sit down with a box of markers and decorate your lovely new "shoe" ......maybe they can draw some cute strappy sandals onto the cast and turn it into chameleon cast :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Seriously, take care of yourself NOW and don't push things so your in a worse situation later.

Ran to Sears to get my Dockers stuff........

ALL Dockers was 50% off - pants, shorts, shirts. Socks were 30% off. So I got 5 polo type shirts in asst. colors and 1 button up shirt with white T under it for $110.00 plus I got my "rebate" form (had to ask at register for it) to send in and get a "free" $75 gift card good at Shell Gas Stations :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: I am trying to get as many "free" gas cards to put away for our WDW trip next fall so that at least 1 thing will be paid off (we drive!) and it won't really come out of our pockets per se'. We purchased our DD7 bed a couple weeks ago & I got a $50 gas card then so now I'll have $125 in gas cards already :woohoo: Now I need to check out Mypoints for gas cards or restaurant cards because I have 20,000 points over there with my Buzzagent trasnfer

wow! That sounds great! I am so lazy with all of that stuff, but it seems to pay off by doing alittle research and work for free stuff.

I use my Disney card for everything and I am just happy to bring my little Rewards card with me on vacation. That is extent of my "getting points" :worried:

I DO have to take off one day and go clothes shopping- maybe I wqill hit Sears and see what kind of little summer dresses they have- on sale I hope!

So you just ask at Sears for the form???

I am freaked out.......

Is it some kind of weird omen if a Blue Jay keeps staring at you:rotfl2:

This darn thing has been coming on my porch ALL day and hanging out looking at me. I am getting freaked out.

Now if it were a black bird- I think I would be even more creeped out, at least the Blue Jay is pretty.....and he is quiet which is odd.

OMG- maybe it is a good thing, don't they say "The Blue Jay of Happiness" :confused3 I just thought of that!

OK- I am talking to myself!:rolleyes1

Where's Kellie for goodness sake! I am sure posting on the Dis will be the frist thing she wants to do after her treatments, right?!:rotfl2: :lmao:

1st I just redeemed points at mypoints for another $50 gift card for Shell gas    I have enough for at least 1 more $50 gift card but I don't want to confuse them....so I'll wait a few days. Then I'll have $225.00 in gas cards :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

The Docker deal I posted over on the Freebie thread the other day.....I get update/sales emails from Sears....it was also on the front page of their ad. It's a "fathers day" sale.

Purchase $100 or more of qualified apparel/accessories (shoes I think are an exlusion) and send in form and receipt for $75 Shell Gas gift card (takes 6 weeks to get card).

The "closest" you could get to an even $100 would be 4 shirts at $18 each, 1 shirt at $20, and a package of socks (3 pairs) for $8.50 = $100.50, but I opted for just shirts because I didn't need the socks and can get a better deal on them (not Docker brand). With Fathers day Sunday, DH's B-day end of July, and my dads birthday July 15th, I just got some shopping done a little early!

It is over gang. I am done.:cool1:  :dance3:  :cool1: :dance3:
So the drinks are on me
drinks.jpg

All I have to do now is get checked once a month for now and test every 3 months and stay on the pills for awhile. But I can so do that.

Oh girls, the babies- The baby raccoons are gone- the baby turkeys are gone, and I never checked back about the baby birds per all of my freaps instructions. Now I am all freaked out b/c the first time since we lived here (5 years) I saw a rabbit:eek: I have spent hundreds of dollars on my new garden and I am not done and that little sucker better behave! I have no idea where he came from. Even our neighbor made a comment about seeing a rabbit- we never get them in our neighborhood. On the other hand- MIL is getting bombarded with them. And what is she doing? Trapping them and taking them to other places (no, it was not her who dropped off the rabbit here, she knows better!)

Anyway- Someone told me you can't just relocate a rabbit in unfamiliar territory! They will most likely die :worried: After she did this twice, I told her about it. And guess what? She told me she now has more babies in her garden. She caught one and the other one was dead- I said, yes! b/c you moved the mommy! She said her man dropped the baby off at the camp down the street from us where they dropped the mom off at- like that matters! I said it will die there or in your yard- it don't have a mom! SO- I said look- next time you catch a baby, bring it to me and I will take it to the wildlife refuge. Better than giving the poor thing a death sentence! She feels bad. I have a feeling she will never get ahead of them- they......... like bunnies:rotfl2:

I do have these pics of my squirrel dude that I give nuts to- I moved my work up to the dining room and I am right at the window and I feed the little critters nuts. I think squirrels are the coolest, most entertaining pains in the butts ever!

and what's up with this? I have never seen a squirrel lay flat like this.

When I would talk to him he will just, flop :rotfl2: - I think he was playing "adorable" so I will give him more nuts- I see him out in the yard a lot and he lays on his belly all the time:rotfl2: He was doing his flopping today when I was talking to him too:rotfl:

Great Pics of the squirrels's, looks like they are posing. It must have been a hard day for the one lying down!:wizard:

HRH, when you get back, I have found some info online about motorcycle/scenic routes through Montana. One is Top 10 Montana rides and the other is through the state road department site but it must have gone down because I can't get it to come up right now: www.mtdt.mt.gov . When we had our storms this week, some of the cities around the state lost power and I don't know if Helena is one of them or not. :confused3

Our temps are supposed to catch up now with today getting up to 70 and (supposedly) into the 80's by Monday. Yeah...we'll see....

As I apply my B&BW self-tanning lotion this morning, it dawns on me that the visitors can always tell the residents as we are all pale...no tan for those who live here. ;)

Kellie- so glad you got through it  . I'll take the margarita on the right...Cheers!!:drinking:

I want the one with the umbrella and monkey. Don't care what it is, I just want my drink to have an umbrella.:rotfl2:
