Thanks for all the warm welcomes. I think I could have lots of fun here. It is quite entertaining.

Into the basket it goes...
Agreed with pp, you are a special person yourself to put yourself out there to do this.

I would like to suggest those black- and -white check-out newspapers (next to the tabloids), World News or something like that. They have stories about "real' people' (who all apparently live in England :confused3 :rotfl: ) who have been abducted by aliens, etc. They are my fave trashy read- a real hoot! Helped my sis get through labor. In the basket, please...:hippie:

aliens, pregnant men, etc. I don't buy them but LOVE to read them.

I was thinking Munchkins. So they are easier to hide. She can pop them in her mouth when John isn't looking.

I miss Munchkins. Make sure they are chocolate with the glaze or jelly filled smoothered in sugar.

We have a dunkin donuts around here that makes boston creme and lemon munchkins

Just curious!- has anyone ever tried the Entenmann's Pop-ems! They are to die for- after you eat them- you will never go back to a Munchkin!
thyessmiley.gif

They are UNBELIEVABLE!!! The glazed are SOOOOOOOO good

My dd thinks we should add the good cheer Care Bear to the basket to help Kellie feel Better.:flower3:

Awwww. I still have my "original" care bears from years ago.

Should we throw a little something in the basket for John so he doesn't feel left out, you know how kids are.

Ditto- or would that be thritto???...........Because, you agreed- so really YOURS would be a ditto and mine would be the 3rd agreement- so that makes it a thritto......hmmm....

I guess I'm a fritto :confused3 :rotfl:

Welcome to the freaps. These gals are the best. I would be lost without them.
As Madd said we are obsessed with freebies and the amazing Johnny Depp. I am shocked she did not mention him:rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Shhhh, she shares (with special people)....................sometimes, but it is NOT advertised :rolleyes1

It's 9:48 and I am still NOT done with my day....

Both kids stayed home from school - it is DS's 7th birthday and we had a family day. Kid gets a choice to go to school or stay home - ya, I'm one of THOSE moms that lets their kid stay home when they aren't at deaths door :thumbsup2 So here was my day (condensed):

* In laws brought over sons present and sang Happy Birthday (10AM)
* Playground of childs choice - slide, sandbox, swings, etc.
* Chinese restaurant - they have an awesome lunch buffet that we try to get there when they open so it's fresh and not picked over by who knows what :scared:
* Home to put together baseball pitching rebounder (1 of his presents)
* Off to Monster golf - miniature golf course painted with glow in the dark paint, white/black lighted, and has scary creatures around - dracula, werewolves, gargoyles, etc. Also has a mini arcade so we played a couple rounds of air hockey where I kicked DH's butt in a round.
* Home Depot to decompress from child fun and look at some stuff for the yard - chairs, patio sets, fire pit
* Bowling - did 2 strings - DH & I watched the kids bowl
* Home again - let them get on Webkinz for 2 hours :scared1: made them spagghetti (DS's fave) for dinner - easy peasy jar sauce and boil noodles. Made sure they are set for school tomorrow and now they are laying down - I think DD is asleep and DS will be soon.

Now I get to make 30 cupcakes for DS's class tomorrow  Now I know why birthdays are only celebrated ONCE a year

Hi y'all. My friend from Greenvile, SC (where we used to live) just emailed me that she met George Clooney downtown. He and Renee Zellweger are there for something to do with "Leatherheads" and she and her son got up close to George while he was signing autographs. He talked to her son and her, too...I am not a "swooner" when it comes to him, but I think he seems to be a really neat down to earth guy. She said he is gorgeos...

So..............whatcha been up to today?

I love George(and not just because he's from KY:lmao: ). He and Renee were in Maysville(which is where he is from) for the premier of "Leatherheads" on Monday. I was so bummed that DH was out of town or I could have left the kids with him to go stalk George.:rotfl2: I like him because he is like an old-fashioned kind of movie star such as Gene Kelley or Clark Gable.:lovestruc

:lovestruc :lovestruc :lovestruc
and he is holding a little puglet - just like my Violet (radiation treatment #3 today...)

So last night I am sitting on the couch, reading my email and my ds comes down to announce that "peanut" is missing...Now do you all remember who peanut is?

She is one of the Rats!!! Arrggg! DD was playing with "Peanut" and "Aphrodite" and forgot to close the cage door. The kids are hesterical (remember we have 3 cats, and 2 dogs as well). DH and I round up the cats and lock them up on the 3rd floor (our bedroom). Dogs into their little "dog house" in the kitchen. Out come the flashlights and dh and I are on our hands and knee looking for a freakin' rat. DS is convinced that he is going to find her dead. After about an hour of searching, dh looks up on top of the storage cubes in the rat room, where there are about 2 dozen stuffed animals stacked up at the top - and what do we see? A little nose and wiskers twitching watching us from up above...

Nothing like a little bit of excitment just before bed.

Rats, cats, dogs, guinea pig, kids and adults all slept well

WOW when do we ever get more than we ask for.
John and I are going to go food shopping. Now there is a good time.:rotfl2: But I need to get out of the house. We have been going for walks but it is raining so John is afraid I will melt if I get wet.:rotfl2:

Wait until we've all gotten a couple of :drinking1 adult beverages :drinking1 in our systems and then lurk! That's when we're the MOST entertaining! :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: So that's what I would "add" to Kellie"s basket! The adult beverage of her choice...for when she is able!

BTW...did anyone get into the Ford houseparty? Invites are out and I didn't get one! :sad1: I hope someone here gets in though! Check your emails. (I have a feeling that with Oprah and Ford the packages are going to be more than the usual napkins and coupons!)

I DID however get a box from UPS today from Quaker with 2 boxes of granola bars and a box of bite sized cookies! I also received my silver Patron keychain in the mail and yesterday I got my Glade candle Bzz kit! Had the candle and 2 refills! So not a bad week really! :) I might just have to have some Petron in honor...and eat a granola bar...whilst staring at my fake candle! :lmao: And trying to not care that I didn't get into the houseparty!:lmao:

I gave up on the housepartys. I never get in. I always get the loser email.
I did get my glade BZZ kit. I also got the oust bzz kit so I have all this free good smelling things in the house:banana:

I am so psyched!! I got into the bigdrive houseparty and the kenmore houseparty!! I haven't gotten into one in sooooo long (and I missed the lipstick jungle e-mail; all filled by the time I responded :guilty: .
I will let you know what the party package is. I am also writing the e-mail for who I think should get the Ford. I have a neighbor who adopted 4 kids, all from foster homes, one with huge medical problems, and lives in a 700 sq foot house. They were going to put on a second floor this year, (her DH is a contractor/builder) but decided to use all the materials they had saved up to put on a new roof for a friend to make some $$ to support all the kiddos, and lo and behold, the 'friend' has no money to pay when all the work is done! So, their 2nd floor is now on someone else's house and they're out $9000 :scared1: ! I'm gonna get my saintly neighbor a new car...
Also, Madd, does your smiley have a gag ball in it's mouth..... :rotfl:
