Hello, everyone! My fiance and I are getting married at Disney World next December and I have a question about our reception location and am hoping I can get some information. We are getting married at Sea Breeze Point and reallllyyy wanted Italy Isola West Plaza for our reception, but because they will have that area blocked off for the Candlelight Processional, we were unable to get it. We thought about other venues, but because we love Epcot so much and want to incorporate IllumiNations, we decided to book Rue de Paris (island arm) for it. We didn't want to spend extra for a dessert party, otherwise we would have chosen something else and had a DP there instead. I'm a little nervous because I've never really paid much attention to the French Island when I've been there and not many pictures of the island's arm is posted online. Can anyone tell me the pros/cons to having the entire reception here? I'm nervous about the food section, as well as how much room we will have. We are inviting around 35 guests, but expect to have 25-30 people there total, including us. We were told if we end up having a confirmed total of at least 30 we could move it to the upper island if it's available. Any info about this location would be MUCH appreciated!! Thank you!

I think the France area is beautiful (though I personally prefer rue de paris to island arm), and one of the best views of illumiNations. One thing about Rue de Paris, though, is it's not wheelchair accessible, if that's a concern for your group.
