FP+ booking at midnight?

It is also quite possible that you were locked out of A&E if you have a 6 day trip of less. I was in at midnight a week ago and was locked out of A&E until the 7th day of my trip. Keep looking for A&E it is possible that someone may cancel. Good Luck!

What does 'locked out..if you have a 6 day trip or less' mean? Does that mean what I think it means that most people take shorter than 7 day trips so you have a shot at A&E after the 6th day?

Or do you literally mean that you cannot get a FP+ to A&E unless you have a 7 day trip or more?

No..sorry..didn't read it. Other reference sites say midnight. I did come here because most people here are in the know. Many did post to try again at 1...so I think the word got around. There is almost SOOOO much information on the DIS that finding one specific nugget of info can be difficult.

My complaint isn't that it started at 1 instead of 12..but that I was 'locked out' until about 10 after, which I am sure cost me A&E and after reading many successes and even multiple bookings, I am sad about that.

The people here, including you, are very helpful. So please don't be frustrated that all of us who were fretting didn't see one specific thread reference, even highlighted.

Fair enough. I want to help as many as I can, and try to make that thread as ubiquitous as possible. I don't have the power to make it any more visible than it is.

Thanks understood..that you can't make it more visible..and I actually have a mea culpa...I made the mistake..in fact your thread was the one I researched to learn all about it.

MY issue..not yours, but mine was that when I read your asterisk about the times randomly happening at 1, I ASSUMED..again, my fault, that you were only referencing A&E fast passes. I didn't see the asterisk that was after the entire comment about midnight..So, I was thinking that the whole thing opened at midnight except for a random hour delay in A&E bookings, which really doesn't make sense, but oddly, makes complete sense with the A&E popularity.

Your thread was immensely helpful..so much so, that when I informed my DW of many of your tips and comments last night as we prepared, she actually said..'nice research, husband'..ha ha

So, you do great work..just an anxious time for many.

Sorry about that I didn't finish my thought. I meant you were locked out by the people that are taking longer vacations. Disney doesn't lock you out. Someone that is going for 10 days and arrives 4 days before you was able to book A&E for the entire length of your trip. So anyone arriving before you but staying longer is able to book the A&E fp+ before your window opens. I am going to be there for 9 nights and 10 days. If we were going at the same time I was able to book for the same days as you but 3 or 4 days before you were even able to make your FP+ reservations. When my window opened I immediately looked at the last day I would be in MK and worked backwards from there. I was only able to find times for the last 3 days I would be in the parks. I took the first one I found and then changed it when I found an earlier date.

Yeah he is completely right! I'm in the uk so in heading out for 2 weeks (too expensive to fly without going for long period) so yesterday I was able to book A&e for 30th. I planned on 23rd but that was gone but I was able to book into second week.

Actually it's worth noting that although I didn't bk fp more than 10days ahead I think I could! I can't check cause I have individual day tickets and u can only assign 4 tickets to one person but I'm sure it offered me 3rd oct. X

My request would be, if possible, to notate which of the kiosks tend to be the least busy at each of the theme parks. I know its subjective, but it would be helpful for sure. I don't know if this type of information is available, but I have read some peoples comments on the 'under used' kiosk positions, now I can't find the darn threads! Or maybe the ones that tend to be most swamped most frequently.

Perhaps this does not fall under 'facts', and therefore you don't want to have it on your fact sheet though.

How ridiculously unfair. Disney is getting on my last nerve and I'm stuck with DVC. After this trip planning nightmare, selling for anything at all seems like a better deal.

Thank god Universal is a sane destination.

The info is probably mostly out of date now anyway, and I have not seen enough reports of which kiosks are busier than others to notice any real trend that I'd feel comfortable relaying to the masses. I just don't know what to do with it right now....

It was a nightmare for me this morning. Window did NOT open at midnight...It was at like 1:02am when it finally switched on. Then after making 2 1/2 days of FP+ reservations the entire system crashed. Horse hockey!

Even when it was working it was maddening. I was so ready to jump on the "MDE is awesome!" bandwagon after reading so many glowing reports. I have had nothing but account glitches and stupidity for the last 2 days. What a tremendous waste of resources MM+ is.

Ok, well if I find any 'hidden gems' next week, I will report back to you. Maybe I should start a thread asking for that info, I wonder if the pros would give up their secret kiosks!! (if there are any).

I suspect there are some great kiosks when I hear the occasional murmur of scoring 7, 8 or 9 fp's at the mk all in one day.....

I did my FP+ on Tuesday morning at midnight and cringed as the clock flipped wondering if it would be 12:00 or 1:00. Luckily it opened at 12, but I have an 11 day trip and couldn't get Anna and Elsa until day 9-11. I am happy I got it, but I have no idea how I will hold DD off until the last day of our trip. I feel so horrible for all of you who aren't able to get Anna and Elsa, or a BOG reservation because you have 7 or less days, they really need a better system. Between waiting at 7 am for FD to open up, 6:00 for ADRS to get BOG at 180, and Tuesday trying to figure out that FP+ thing at midnight! I must say this has been the most stressful trip planning ever. Good luck to all of you.
