FP+ booking at midnight?

Well..I got in about 10 minutes past 1 am...but for the entire length of my stay, I was unable to get Anna and Elsa..which seems ridiculous...there's no reason that should happen 60 days out for a 7 day trip when I log in and the first possible moment.

Disney sure has lost its magic...it's crazy that this doesn't work..very disappointed as will be my daughters.

I was able to get them for Saturday Night, last night there. There were still lots avail on Saturday night 9/27 and if anyone wants there was some Sunday morning 9/28 too but we got lucky and got a BOG reservation Saturday night so that works out.

I was able to get Anna and Elsa for September 27 only. All other days were closed.

Here, too...so bummed. How can it be that there is ZERO availability? There must be something wrong because Philharmagic also showed no FP availability, so I'm thinking the website isn't showing true available FP's.

I was surprised I was able to book the parades. I thought those weren't available til at least 30 days out.

I think it's a new edition. Someone mentioned the other day that they could book shows. I've not done so cause we'll camp out for them…hope that's not a mistake on my behalf

Sorry to those of you who didn't get Anna & Elsa. I'm guessing they've gone to people who have longer stays? I did read somewhere that the lines for A&E are better now, particularly at certain times of the day so don't give up hope. Also, it's possible that people will change plans and drop one so keep checking every now and again.

Those of you mentioning 27th - I must admit when I couldn't get 23rd I panicked and jumped straight to 30th, didn't even try for 27th lol

No, but I have seen today they are opening up. For example there was some times that opened earlier today for A&E earlier in the week so just keep checking.

I was able to get everything else and then had to rework most of them around ADR way to much planning. DH thinks I am insane I did book a parade one night at MK which might be nice. We are ones that go back to the hotel mid afternoon and then hop over to a different park, so two of my days I planed our FP reservations for the afternoon around dinner times.

Sorry to hear you all had so much trouble, but now I'm kinda happy that I overslept! LOL. I just hit 60 days myself, and woke up (late) and logged on about 1:30am. Had zero problems with it. Got everything I wanted, even Anna & Elsa on Saturday, 9/27! (But I wanted them on Saturday anyhow, as 120 days ago when I was up at the crack of dawn doing my dining ADRs, it was also the only day of my trip I could land a BOG reservation, so it worked out well!) My A&E is later, but that's fine for me. So excited!

Got in at 1:04 and went to Thursday 9/25 - no A&E. Checked with Tuesday 9/23 just to be sure but it was gone, too.

Read that some people were booking A&E for multiple days. I don't usually call "no fair" but if Disney can limit how much Frozen merchandise someone can buy on-line or in-store, you'd think that they could limit A&E fast passes to one/two per stay.

I was able to get everything else that we wanted so I'm going to be thankful and feel happy about that!

I must admit that it was time-consuming trying to split a day's FP+ selections with different family members. Took me a moment to figure out the change/add attraction feature but once I did, smooth sailing. I was logged out once and had several slow moments but happy to report that none of this glitches resulted in my losing any data!

I found that the most trying part was to be sure that the times that I chose didn't result in my family having to run back and forth across the parks!

lol yep. I was doing that and on a couple of occasions I want a 'late start' either cause we want to do a tour or because we'll have had a late night the day before…trying to work out when we'd get to the park and then when we could book for and not miss shows etc…tiring lol

Err yes, which is why I knew it might be 6am & what to poss book (thank you) but your thread is also very busy and a couple of my questions were missed. Not quite sure why you were asking though cause nothing that was discussed in here that I saw would suggest we hadn't read it and tbh I think this thread started more because we all wanted to check we weren't the only ones having to wait. It was more about camaraderie in the early hrs.

Just frustrating to read all the concern and confusion over why it didn't open at midnight for many of you. I wrote it (and stressed the 1:00a thing) to help ease exactly that, so that folks wouldn't worry so much when midnight comes and goes. Most posters on the first page at least don't seem to realize this, and I don't see anyone chiming in with "it's cool, it'll open at 1". I didn't mean to sound so annoyed, sorry. Glad everyone was able to hang for another hour and get mostly what they wanted.

By the time I could post it was on page 2. But I did let them know it might be 1am. I read you thread before I booked my friends, but still stressed night of!

My complaint isn't that it started at 1 instead of 12..but that I was 'locked out' until about 10 after, which I am sure cost me A&E and after reading many successes and even multiple bookings, I am sad about that.

It is also quite possible that you were locked out of A&E if you have a 6 day trip of less. I was in at midnight a week ago and was locked out of A&E until the 7th day of my trip. Keep looking for A&E it is possible that someone may cancel. Good Luck!

I'm hopeful that the new A&E standby procedure will continue into September. It makes me feel better about not getting an A&E FP. The trip I was booking for was only 5 days long, so we were locked out. I'll keep checking for new availability, but I'm not holding my breath.
