FP+ and ADRs?

I am going on a trip with friends in August. I have heard reports about others not allowed to get FPs around the times of ADRs. I have profiles for everyone set up (managed by me) so I can make FP selections for them. If I link the profile of someone to their MDE account with an ADR for everyone, will that affect selections I previously make? For example, if I make selections for a 7:30-8:30 pm slot, will that be affected when an 8:00 pm ADR is linked? Also, if I make a selection at a kiosk, would I be able to change the time to a "conflicting" time slot on my phone?

Never used a kiosk so I don't know what's up there.
What I do know is that I have FP+s already selected then added an ADR with an overlap and my MDE page simply lists "time overlap," so no worries there. I also just now looked at my time options to change a FP+time and a variety of times were listed, including those that would conflict with an ADR. I wonder if anyone has had trouble with overlaps between ADRs and FP+s being disallowed. I know FP+s can't conflict with FP+s.

I made my ADR over the phone and it is not listed on my MDE account, so I had no problems getting FP+ that overlapped slightly.

Ok thanks! I know Disney thought they were helping others plan with these limits, but as a commando user things are a lot more complicated!
