Fourth FP+ -- Couple Questions?

I've tried reading through the ton of posts here, but admittedly not every single one! I just haven't seen a couple simple things I'm wondering about...

1. I know you have to use a kiosk to book your 4th and subsequent FPs. But will you be able to at least see what's available on your app? In other words, do I want to stand in the kiosk line if the only thing still available is Captain EO? If I look at my app and see that, I'm not even going near the kiosk line.

2. Along the same line, will you be able to see what's available in other parks before going there? I know they've said you have to hop to your second park and book FPs there, not from your original park. But being able to see what's available where might help determine what second park to go to.

We're not going until August so everything will probably be different by then anyway, but trying to keep up with the changes!

These are exactly what I am wondering. Especially the hopping feature - really hope that will change to booking any park from any kiosk (or the app of course). We go in June so I am watching closely

For the record, I was looking at the app last night around 600pm to see what was still available fps. And in MK enchanted tales was available, in Epcot, maelstrom was available just to name a couple... There were other ride choices as well, things like BTMRR and space were not, nor was tsmm but I think it was a good sign that we won't be stuck with just captain EO.

Of course, those options will change after Monday but perhaps, it won't be as grave as some would think.

So you're able to see what's available to book in each park from the app? I guess that was my basic question, even if I asked in a roundabout way!

I haven't actually used the app yet and when I try to go to the MDE website, it won't let me near the FP page because our trip isn't until August. Would the app be the same way--totally blacked out until I have a valid reservation?

Also...will only one member of a group have to stand in the kiosk line and then be able to select the 4th FP for everyone linked on MDE ?? I'm assuming that must be the case, right?!

Its going to be very interesting to see how this plays out over the first few weeks. I believe this is far from the last "change" we'll see. I think this just the next step in their controlled implementation plan. My guess is we will see true hopping (ie able to book multiple parks a ahead of time) and the ability to pick up the past 3 FP by app. The question for me is, will that be in place for my trip in August.

Definitely keeping close tabs until then and looking forward to reading first hand accounts from those of you visiting in the next couple of months.

Is this 4th fp even a big deal. The best rides will be gone on that day so my question is whether the time you have to wait at the kiosk even worth it. I can see this being effective at MK if you are only going there one day but do you really want to wait at a kiosk for Maelstrom, great movie Ride or Dinosaur. I have never waited more than 20 minutes for any of these or comparable rides at AK, HS or EPCOT

I guess my question is for people who have taken advantage of this. Was it worth it?

I guess the million dollar question is why not let people have 4 or 5 fp at MK? There are so many attractions. I don't think this would effect it's flow.
