Extra is reporting that he has been declared "brain dead" so I don't know if he has technically died, or not, but either way, it does not look good. So sad.

So far these are just reports from "insiders". There's nothing official yet, though it seems like it may be coming to this.

I could be wrong but when I read "cameras in tow" I assume they mean the Kardashian's camera crews.

I agree that they aren't to blame to for their "fame". Demand and supply...

Sorry, but I'd quibble with the notion that they aren't to "blame" for their fame. They launched their empire on becoming famous and that's it, nothing more substantial behind it. In recent years they put out clothing lines and perfume, but their primary business is having their images out there in photographs daily. It's a well known secret they have a system set up to feed a stream of info to the "media" and do so on a regular basis.

There are reports that the episode of Keeping up with the Kardashians which aired on Sunday night had a lot of focus on Kloe and her talking about what went wrong with her relationship with Lamar. Witnesses at the brothel say that Lamar received a phone call in which they say he was talking to someone about the episode and getting upset. They say his mood changed after that phone call. According to their story he pretty much shut himself in his room and this is where I'm unclear but eventually the hookers find him overdosed on the bed and call 911.

I actually that it was classless for them to show that in the episode. Clearly Lamar is/was going through a tough time. They should have left him out of it. Scott is at least being paid and agrees to being taped, so he is putting that out there, but they should have respected his privacy. If that truly is a reason he went over the edge that is something they all will have to live with. Now that doesn't mean they are responsible for Lamar's addiction and depression issues, but they made a very poor decision when allowing it to be shown. There was no other point to it other than to create drama.

It's not the Kardashians fault. Lamar didn't have the tools to cope with the tragedies life dealt him. Without his incredible talent and big heart, he probably wouldn't have made it this far. It's not the first time, I've seen it happen. Sadly, it won't be the last.

The only person responsible for Lamar is Lamar. He is an addict. You cannot fall into the trap of thinking you are responsible for his choices.

Yes, his situation with the Kardashians is nutty. When you sign up for reality TV, it takes a life of it's own. He was not able to handle it.

He made his choice and people have to suffer his choice.

I saw the episode I didn't think it was bad. Khloe didn't think Vegas was a good place for him to be, she knew him well enough to know that there were to many demons there for him

All of that "drama" really is what their product is. They continuously must have drama, drama which is largely manufactured and shaped to fit the narrative where they're such good people with such a wonderful family. That's why I've paid attention to the information "insiders" are giving out on this current tragedy. It's largely shaping up to depict them as heroes, which I expect will be the big takeaway from this tragic story. I don't think they're to blame for this situation, however they should simply shut their mouths unless they're asking for prayers and not look to this as an opportunity to shape their story.

Personally I don't buy the story that the TV show sent him off the rails. He was a part of it and knew how the sausage was made. I think there has been plenty of spin out there by the brothel as well. They are desperate to deflect from the fact that a guest, a VIP guest no less, was partying so hard he OD'd on their premises, despite paying major $$ for round the clock attention. IMO he was partying hard (that's on him), the brothel knew it and let it go on (probably going to lose their license) because he's famous and big $$ was at stake. They discovered what they did after finally checking on him, probably cleaned up and removed evidence and then called 9-1-1 and started spinning to the media.
