Former NBA player Lamar Odom found unresponsive..

All of that "drama" really is what their product is. They continuously must have drama, drama which is largely manufactured and shaped to fit the narrative where they're such good people with such a wonderful family. That's why I've paid attention to the information "insiders" are giving out on this current tragedy. It's largely shaping up to depict them as heroes, which I expect will be the big takeaway from this tragic story. I don't think they're to blame for this situation, however they should simply shut their mouths unless they're asking for prayers and not look to this as an opportunity to shape their story.

Personally I don't buy the story that the TV show sent him off the rails. He was a part of it and knew how the sausage was made. I think there has been plenty of spin out there by the brothel as well. They are desperate to deflect from the fact that a guest, a VIP guest no less, was partying so hard he OD'd on their premises, despite paying major $$ for round the clock attention. IMO he was partying hard (that's on him), the brothel knew it and let it go on (probably going to lose their license) because he's famous and big $$ was at stake. They discovered what they did after finally checking on him, probably cleaned up and removed evidence and then called 9-1-1 and started spinning to the media.

They were interviewing the brothel owner on TMZ live and there were a few parts of the interview which almost had the feel that the owner of the brothel was using the interview as advertising for his brothel. It wasn't blatant but he went into some depth about the services they provide and the costs. It seemed a little creepy.

It's not the Kardashians fault every paper reports on them. You can ask the 'what have they contributed to society' about A LOT of celebrities. They are societies monster.

None the less they feed into the frenzy. Like my previous post said, you can't go a day without hearing about them online. Now the one taking over Kim's spot is the youngest sister, Kylie. Kylie got a boob job, kylie got a new butt, Kylie went to the bathroom, etc etc. All of the celebrities out there I think they are the worst. I feel sorry for Lamar getting caught up in their mix. That probably didn't help his situation.

The comments are extremely harsh against them. I am a big watcher of KUWTK and kinda like them, but I actually think they look like scum right now. YMMV.

He understood how the circus operated and I don't think it's responsible for his actions. IMO his lifestyle and choices caught up with him. That's a tragically familiar story of addiction.

I think the Kardashians operate as a big machine, rather like Joseph Kennedy going back to the 1930s and 40s, seeking to build a narrative and shape a mythology and destiny. I think the brothel is also working their much smaller spin machine as best as they can cobble together right now. I expect that's futile and expect to hear they've been shut down in the months to come. Talk about classless, they actually were on the news showing the room and the bed he was in. That's scummy.

Dennis Hof is absolutely looking for publicity & to cover his ***. Years ago he had his own reality show following one of his brothels, The Bunny Ranch, so he's no stranger to the cameras.

He may be a nice guy and very well liked, but he hasn't done right by his kids and he didn't do right by his marriage either -- no doubt largely as a result of his addiction and other psychological issues driving the addiction. Tragically sad.

They have reported that she refuses to leave his bedside. I think she loves him too. Its sad. It's hard enough to try to help someone with an addiction. It's impossible to do it in front of a camera. Hopefully this is a reality check and she sees now what is really important.

The only person responsible for Lamar is Lamar. He is an addict. You cannot fall into the trap of thinking you are responsible for his choices.

Yes, his situation with the Kardashians is nutty. When you sign up for reality TV, it takes a life of it's own. He was not able to handle it.

It is so very sad. Lamar was a drug addict. And before we throw the entire family under the bus, how do we know that his love for Khloe, and vice versa, didn't slow down the trajectory of his addictions - how far the drugs could take him? Or his love for Rob for that matter? We just don't know either way.

He was not able to handle that show, for sure. This is a man that was so incredibly sensitive that he was crazy hurt by a business decision - a Lakers trade that did not go through - to the point that he refused to go back to his team when the deal was axed. Probably because that team probably became his family, his anchor and Lamar saw a business decision as a personal slight.

I do think that they should have kept him off the show. He didn't want to be on it, then he shouldn't have been on it - pointe finale. And if he felt that he was being portrayed in an bull crap way, well. But that still doesn't make them responsible. Lamar made his choices.

He just had way too much going on for such a sensitive man. While he was going to his cousins' funeral, his car, - Lamar was not driving - hit a motorcycle on route and that bike was pushed into a pedestrian. The young man died.

Couple that with all the deaths and his sensitivity.

When I heard his best friend overdosed, I did think it's only time. it's too much.

Not if he has no brain response. You begin losing brain cells within 4 minutes of oxygen depravation. The heart is just a muscle. As an athlete, I'm sure his heart is strong. You can rebuild the heart muscle somewhat. You can't rebuild dead brain cells.

Medicine can keep a body alive for years with no brain response. If that's a good thing or not is a very personal opinion. But it's not something I'd want for myself or my loved one.

At this point it might behoove them to release an official statement on his condition. All of this crazy "insider" information is making people very confused. One report says he is opening his eyes and wanting to see his kids, another is saying any movement is involuntary, some are saying he is brain dead, some are saying doctors have no clue at this point, and it just goes on and on.
