I had a diagnostic mammogram and an ultrasound. They feel, due to it's location....it's better to just watch it for now. (it would be difficult to aspirate) They believe it's probably benign, but want to monitor it...just to be safe.

It was an emotional day. Go in for the mammo...wait. Call you back for additional films.....wait. Decide to do an ultrasound....wait. Have the Dr. consult during second ultrasound. I was scared to death. I'm the type that cries after it's all over. It seemed to be good news, for the ladies today. Last November, I took my grandmother for her mammo. A couple of the women weren't so fortunate.

glad they think it's nada and that they're keeping an eye on it.

After working L&D for so many years and also involved with OB-Gyne....waiting is very hard. Glad they feel it is benign. The problem with waiting is you will be feeling it 20 times a day. How big is it? and are they suspecting it to be a cyst?

Oh, I think if I were surrounded by that many, I'd make sure I'd have enough ammo for me and my family. No way I'd want to be eaten alive.

Yup, that was it. The old one was gorier, but the remake was scarier because they could RUN!

Hey ya'll. I've come asking for a favor. Keep me in your thoughts. I found a lump in my breast last week. I had visit to the Dr. yesterday and tests today.

I had good news and no news. The good news...the lump I found is nothing to worry about. The no news...they found a nodule they want to "wait and watch". So, they will check again in a few months.

I had a rough time over the weekend. I always self-check, but I never expect to find anything. It was pretty scary.

You will be in my thoughts and prayers. Please keep us updated.

I had a CT Scan yesterday, fun! Pretty much got the same news as you... There's a pain right behind my ear that's apparently near a bone, not any kind of lymph node or gland. Everything came back normal on the scan, so nothing to worry about, it's just painful. I can't turn my neck, it wakes me up at night (I just woke up and came downstairs to take more pain meds, thought I'd see how everyone was doing today until they kick in!) My wonderful boyfriend took off work so I didn't have to drive...because if you can't turn your neck without searing pain, well, it makes it hard to drive! But now at least I've got some good pain killers (when they don't wear off in the middle of the night!) So I can function around the house a little more

I cracked/bruised my ribs last Saturday, holding DS and falling on our pergo floors. They still hurt.

I get the same pain....I go to my chiropractor and away it goes. It even causes me to cough sometimes. The pain gets real bad and cant turn my next. It causes me headache and bad jaw pain. When I go in and he presses near my ear I feel like I will hit the roof.

Tylenol does nothing for the most part for it. Try the chiropractor.

That's not the first time I've heard "go to a chiropractor." I've heard they also help with migraines...and I get those constantly. I guess the idea of a chiropractor makes me nervous for some reason!

Perhaps. I've never been to one but DH has, quite a few times. He's had back and hip pain for 7 years after a dirt bike accident.
