I had a diagnostic mammogram and an ultrasound. They feel, due to it's location....it's better to just watch it for now. (it would be difficult to aspirate) They believe it's probably benign, but want to monitor it...just to be safe.
It was an emotional day. Go in for the mammo...wait. Call you back for additional films.....wait. Decide to do an ultrasound....wait. Have the Dr. consult during second ultrasound. I was scared to death. I'm the type that cries after it's all over. It seemed to be good news, for the ladies today. Last November, I took my grandmother for her mammo. A couple of the women weren't so fortunate.
glad they think it's nada and that they're keeping an eye on it.
