For those San Juan professionals

Ok we are on one of the special cruises to San Juan and we are beach people....my question is...there is only one beach excursion on the Disney website and it it quite pricy. Is this beach worth it? Has anyone ever been to this beach? Are there any other nice beaches in the area? I'm shocked they are not offering more beach excursions..... I usually do a snorkeling excursion but they are from boats this time and I am taking my grandmother who would not enjoy that.

What do you recommend as far as a nice beach?
